The location is private with easy lake access. We enjoyed swimming and kayaking. Also, close enough to Mammoth to see the caves and hiking.

For an on-the-lake experience in this area at a great price, this house just *cannot* be beat. Cozy, secluded location? Check. 2-minute walk from the main porch to the private dock? Check.Huge back porch with ample seating and a gas grill? Check.Tons of sleeping accommodations? Check.Kayaks, games, pool table, satellite Smart TV? Check.All of this along with a super-responsive host and all the amenities that make a house feel like a home. If you're looking for a fun, relaxing getaway in this part of Kentucky, I cannot recommend this spot enough.

The cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed. The private dock was in close proximity. The lake area was very quiet and peaceful. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Perfect getaway!

Exactly what our family was looking for, serenity and scenery with a nearby national park! Plenty for us to enjoy in this beautiful, well-maintained, stocked house - loved it!

The house is great--clean, lots of space and lots of natural light, well-equipped kitchen, opportunities for indoor recreation (ping pong, darts, board games) and outdoor recreation (hiking trails, large porch, campfire area), beautiful surroundings. The host was very responsive to questions before and during our stay.

The property was fantastic for our families. Plenty of space and beds. The location was perfect. It was close enough to the lake but not too close to not be safe for the young kids. We had a great time and would absolutely stay at this property.

Sorry, the lake is always drained for the winter and I sent the info on when water is released into it. That’s just normal for Nolin. Full depth is reached in April. Peak lake season is April to September. And we sent that info at the time of booking. Sorry that had such negative impact on your stay as there’s a lot of fun things to do around Mammoth in February. Sorry again and thanks for staying!

Great stay on Nolin Lake!

We had a blast at this vrbo! The place is super nice with a lot of room and a quick walk to the water with your own personal dock. 10/10 would recommend!

Tim and Amanda's lovely lake house was the perfect place for an extended weekend stay with friends. Tons of space, games, entertainment options, helpful amenities and - of course - the lake, only a short walk down from the huge wraparound porch. Our expectations were not only met but exceeded; I would highly recommend staying at this charming home for your next lake trip!

Beautiful location; quiet and private. Cabin was spacious, lovely, and clean. Great place and would highly recommend. Some issue during check in but host was very responsive and helpful.

I loved staying at this place! It was the perfect amount of space for 9 people (4 adults / 5 kids) and we had a great day hanging out by / in the lake. One note is that it is pretty remote, so don't expected a place right off the interstate. We loved the place and plan on going back.

Incredibly cozy cabin and location

The entire process from beginning to end was great. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great and it was pretty simple to get to everything we wanted to. Thanks for the great weekend and we hope to stay again!

Secluded getaway

This amazing cabin was clean and huge! On a lake with walking trails and close to Mammoth Cave National Park. Massive deck overlooking the lake and a separate screened porch to listen to the rain on a tin roof. The hosts were very responsive and made great recommendations for places to eat. We loved it!

Spacious cabin, peaceful atmosphere

We had a great time at this spacious cabin with our family! Close to Mammoth Cave and right on the lake. Perfect place to get away from it all and disconnect. Kids loved the game room and walking to the dock. Visited Mammoth Cave & Nolin Lake.

Very clean and well stocked. They have quality items. Did not stock with cheap brands, such as shampoo, etc. Would highly recommend. Amanda was a pleasure to work with.
