The property was fantastic for what our group was looking for in our stay to get out Nashville for a few days. Highly recommend the area, and this property and amenities were awesome!

Great view of Nolin Lake, our group didn’t go down to dock cuz of cold, but got to see everyone else go in/out. Place is very clean and beautiful. Loved reading in sunroom both mornings.

The place was all we'd hoped for and more! The views, the lake access, the beds, the living space, the kitchen, the outdoor space were all top notch! We would definitely stay here again!

This property was just as described, very pretty view and it was just beautifully remodeled. The kitchen is very well equipped as well. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway with lots of hiking trails I would recommend this property.

Needs Work

This was a family vacation and was booked because of the hot tub and the lake. The hot tub was very dirty, we let the owner know and she said it was just cleaned, you couldn’t tell. Dock to the lake wasn’t accessible. Overall cleanliness was subpar, floors were good but walls and everything else wasn’t. No toilet paper, glad we brought our own. Only good thing was the view. We were going to leave for a new place but after traveling over 1000 miles we were tired. Made the best of the couple days.

I do apologize for the unsatisfied trip. I had just purchased the vacation rental property and realized it had some major renovations. I just wanted to let you know we have completely gutted the entire house and just built a new large deck with covered porch and will be getting a new hot tub in the spring. This house will be a new house come Spring 2026. The lake was not to summer pool til later due to the Major spring floods that damaged the State park and Dam. If you are in our area again we have five rentals in the Mammoth cave area!! Thank you!

Disappointed

I have stayed at plenty of places that go above and beyond, this is not one of those places. Don't expect matching towels, snack bags or air freshners. Place smelled musty, cobwebs everywhere, boxfan caked with dust, no guest binder/info...I could go on and on. For what I paid, this place was disappointing, to say the least. Oh, did I mention I almost went through the rotting deck that surrounded the dirty hot tub? When I reached out to the owner about the deck, I did get an apology and an explaination that they just bought the property a few months ago and planned on renovating it soon, but no discount. But they are still charging premium for a subpar rental. The place has an abandoned feel. Pics are misleading. I wouldn't waste my money until after it gets remodeled.
