The host was very communicative and accommodating going out of her way to provide a pack and play and allow for an early check in. Any time I had a question she responded very quickly. The house is well stocked for cooking. The lanai is where we spent most of our time enjoying the ocean view and sunset. We enjoyed the pool for a cooling dip after our morning runs. We could walk 10 minutes to fantastic snorkeling. The room air conditioners were very much appreciated as it was hot at night. Fans kept the interior cool but we spent most of our time outside in the covered porch. The beds were all comfortable. A perfect stay for our family of two couples, a baby and another adult. We would definitely return!

The host, Simmy was very helpful as this was my first VRBO rental. The property was beautiful with tropical flora and the house was as advertised, amazing.

Loved the location, the lanai that overlooked the ocean. The house was well equipped with amenities. My children loved the pool in the front yard.

Simmy was great, her home was cozy. The thing I didn't like was that the grill was far away and the big ants wanted to attack while I was grilling. Otherwise Simmys home had everything we needed for a great trip.

We had a great time. The house is great. We loved eating on the porch and watching the ocean. The walking distance to beaches and sunsets was amazing.

Kitchen was great for cooking meals! There is shopping nearby but Costco is best for value. Everyone had their own space which is great for adults and the porch (lani) was amazing we spent most of our time there! The beach just couple blocks away has the best snorkeling around. We rented snorkel gear from the beach shop right across from beach. Amazing place and a great place to stay while on the island! Simmy is wonderful!

Home is very nice, centrally located. Nice to see some wildlife in the trees in the backyard. Had everything we needed, I would use the house in the future.

Tay in Hawaii

The house was a perfect Hawaiin style house complete with great lanai, wonderful view of the ocean, Close to beaches. The space was perfect for our family and the kids loved the lizards, named most of them and counted them daily. Definitely would stay again!

80th birthday celebration

The lanai was our favorite place to hang out. So much room and the view was beautiful. The pool was perfect for the end of day. We definitely would come back.

This house is perfect!!

We had an amazing stay!! Easy walking distance to both Magic Sands and Kahaluu beach. MASSIVE lanai, where we spent most of our time, and a few of us even spent the night on. Simmy is a doll, and totally helpful, taking the time to meet with us in person at check in. Absolutely perfect stay!

Truly Fabulous Beach House

Lovely home, exceptionally clean on arrival, well-equipped and conveniently located. Fantastic deck with ocean view became the center for our family meals and relaxation. Beach parks within walking distance, well maintained pool on property, and shopping center within a few minutes drive. Gracious host provided an arrival tour of the premises and recommendations for exploring Hawai’i, all in the spirit of Aloha.

A View in Paradise

We would definitely rent Simmy's house again ! It really felt like a "home" and not a rental...it was nicely decorated and had plenty of seating areas. We spent most of our time on the lanai looking at the ocean !! We really enjoyed ourselves here and hope to come back in the future. Thank you Simmy !

This was the perfect house for our family of 6! Simmy was quick to respond to questions. ACs in the bedrooms (and even in the sleeping nook in the living room) worked great. Kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. We loved having beach chairs, umbrellas, noodles, and a big rolling cooler for the beaches. Bedding and beds in general were just ok. Above ground pool was clean and nice to tread water in. Our favorite part of the house was the huge lanai: gorgeous setting and very comfortable. We walked to Kahulu'u Beach and snorkeled several times. We day-tripped all over the island and were glad when we got "home" that there were many restaurants a few minutes drive from the house (Sunset Kai Lanai, Magics Beach Grill, and Tropics were our favorites).

Location and charm

Staying in a lovely traditional Hawaiian home set near the coast with easy access to everything in the Kona area gave our three generation family just the right balance. We could choose to snorkel, explore, shop, adventure, or hang on the ocean view porch and read, knit, and watch the tiny green geckos, birds, and blossoms silently fall, while the 11 year old swam in the pool. Magic memories.

Amazing LOCATION and Beautiful privacy

We were so thankful for the many bedroom options and 3 bathrooms for our 2 teens and 3 adult children. The house was clean and private! The DECK - WOW! That incredible view with NO house to block the sunsets, or hear the crashing waves at night. Thank you Simmy!
