Welcome to Chateau Vino! Enjoy the best that wine country has to offer at this newly renovated home. Our home is located within walking distance to Starbucks, Tim Hortons, LCBO and some of the best wineries and restaurants in NOTL. Conveniently located on the bike path, a short ride or drive takes you further to discover breweries, cafes, shops and restaurants.

A large private, fully fenced-in backyard oasis is yours to enjoy including BBQ, cozy propane fire table, and comfortable outdoor lounge seating under hanging twinkle lights.

Our spacious den includes a pool table, foosball table, poker table and lounge seating for indoor fun!

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend. It was a perfect place to hangout either good friends for a few days. There were 6 of us and there was plenty of room to play games together in the living room, hang out around the kitchen while cooking and then eating and also to relax. The wine theme is very cute and was very fitting for our theme of the weekend.

Great place! Was really cute and clean inside and the location in minutes to wineries, restaurants. Hosts were accomodating and responsive as well. A great stay overall!

Great location for a couple day trip to the region. 20 minutes away from Niagara Falls, so easy enough to get to but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to slow down and enjoy the area. NOTL is a beautiful region and this property just a short drive from many wineries and the town was a great space for our family to call home. The property itself is nice. Cozy, but laid out in a way that still feels spacious. Hosts left a bottle of wine from the region, which was a nice touch. Full disclosure: writing reviews is hard because of the desire to be helpful for future travelers, but not come across rude or arrogant to the current setup. That said, the couple things that prevented this from being 5 stars for us: Game area in the basement was nice, although it is an unfinished basement with open storage area and stuff, just didn’t feel cozy … and the games are showing wear (eg broken foosball men and ping pong paddles). Given the beauty of the region (nearby lavender farm and downtown shops), having local amenities (soaps, coffee, etc), could have been a nice touch that puts some rentals over the top. The property itself was clean, but not ‘hotel room clean’. It never felt overly troublesome, but wasn’t 5-star. If friends were traveling to the area and planned to stay here, I wouldn’t talk them out of it. It was a nice place. An easy 4 stars. At the same time, I would also explore around before committing here myself again in the future.

Great location for relaxing times in Niagara

We stayed at this property due to its proximity to Niagara on the lake and the falls. The property was exactly as advertised and in perfect range of everything that can be done in the area (vineyards, historic places, shoping, etc.). The communication with the property owner was at a super high standard and a small issue with a malfunctioning device in the property was resolved within a few hours. Amazing service at higher than our own expectations. We enjoyed this property in it's entirety and even the details were taken care of. Thank you once again for offering us this home to stay in.

Niagara-on-the-Lake

First of all I would give Catherine, property manager 10 stars for Communication. We were having some tech problems and she was extremely helpful in getting our check in information to us. The property was a short drive to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Refridgerator had a Brita system for filtered water which we really appreciated. House was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property.

A lovely stay in wine country

We enjoyed our stay at Chateau Vino. We were 6 adults who took advantage of the available bikes to do a half day bike trip to some vineyards and restaurants. The house is perfectly located for this type of trip - it's right by the main road and even within 5-10 minutes of multiple vineyards if you just want a short ride. The house was comfortable and clean, with all the essentials provided. With 6 adults it was somewhat close quarters upstairs, but definitely still workable. Cathy and Bryan provided us with all the information we needed to have a smooth check in process and were very responsive to questions. The provided bikes are single speed cruisers, so not ideal for long distances. However they worked great for our casual bike ride to visit nearby wineries. The backyard is lovely and we enjoyed relaxing there after our bike ride. Overall, we'd recommend this stay for your Niagara-on-the-lake adventure, and would stay again next time.

The home was very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with items needed for meal preparation. The location is very central to nearby wineries and only a 10-minute drive from downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake, with its theatres. Groceries or any needed supplies can be sought in the town of Virgil, which is within walking distance.
