Unwind in this 3-story mountain cabin overlooking the iconic golf hole featured in Dirty Dancing! Set in Rumbling Bald Resort, it’s perfect for families and groups—sleeps 14 comfortably (16 with cots)—and includes 12 full resort passes.

Sleeping Arrangements:

Main Level: Primary bedroom with 2 queen beds + en-suite full bath, with additional full bath off kitchen

Upper Level: 2 bedrooms (each with a queen + twin) and 1 full shared bath, plus a private loft with king bed

Lower Level: Bedroom with 1 queen + 1 double, 2 single cots, and 1 full bath

Bathrooms:

4 full baths total: 1 on each floor for guest convenience, 2 on main

I was hesitant to believe the 5 star rating from every reviewer, but after staying at Dancing Falls this past weekend, please add me to the five star review list. What an amazing place. We had a group of 12 golfers stay at the house for a four-day golf trip and it could not have been better. From the pre-arrival communication to the easy check out, the stay could not have gone any better. If you are looking for a great place to stay at Lake Lure, this is it!!!!

The house was large, beautiful and a great location. However, the cabin had not been thoroughly dusted and cleaned in a while. We had to leave a day early because of family allergy issues. The top layer of bed linens were very dusty - which we never use much but as I said we had to leave a day early.The kitchen utensil drawer had dead flies in them.That being said, I did contact host and he was going to order a thorough cleaning on cabin.

Huge & Inviting!

We had the best time! The cabin is large enough to accommodate several families with their own separate spaces. The location is great, resort is awesome. Beautiful view of the lake, comfy beds and a fully stocked kitchen.

We have been coming to Lake Lure every year for 6 years now and have stayed at a few places in rumbling bald resort and this was one of the more expensive places we have stayed but the price did not match up with what we got. We got there at check in at 4 and the cleaners were still working, we waited patiently but when we finally got in the house we could tell it was rushed. There was no organization to the kitchen- pots and pans everywhere and lids that don’t match. The beds were not that comfortable and the bath towels were comically small- they barely fit around my 8 year old. Overall we had a good trip, I just think this place is overpriced for what you get. Host was excellent with communication.

The only issue was that the front door did not close easily or completely and could not be locked. We called because we noticed the bottom hinges were loose and a guy did come out to correct that but it did not fix the door being difficult to close. Very minor issues that did not bother us very much at all.

Tranquil, spacious, great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at dancing falls. The home was beautiful and spacious enough for our large group. The location is perfect and convenient to so many activities and adventures in the area. We had many laughs and made lots of fun memories with our families!

Great cabin!

Wonderful long weekend spent at this great cabin! Ample room for all! (4 adult couples) Beautiful view! Enjoyed game room as well! Communication was great from hosts and Easy access!

Fantastic for big families!!

It was perfect for my 60th birthday celebration with my 4 children & grandchildren!! Loved the gorgeous property, location, view, history of Dirty Dancing movie & really neat decor. We all would love to come back sometime.

Great for family gatherings!

Our family vacation which included three generations stayed for a wonderful week at Dancing Falls! There was enough space for everyone to spread out on the different decks, enjoy the hot tub, fire pit or just hangout! Laurie was very responsive and gave us great information about the area and the resort property.

Great Golf Getaway

The house was perfect for our golf getaway with 10 ladies. Plenty of space for all! The house was clean, directions excellent and communication with our host was very easy. My only suggestion would be to add in a few large serving platters and dishes for bigger groups. We definitely look forward to returning!
