First of all, this home is beautiful, sitting on a perfect part of the lake. There is a pontoon boat which fit all of our folks- twelve. We took the boat to several restaurants instead of driving. Everyone enjoyed that!Swimming from the deck of the boat house was a memorable experience. Also, sitting around the fire pit in the evening was relaxing and cozy. And one of the best features is the responsiveness of the host!!!THANK YOU for the memories!Sarah Medley

My group of 6 adults had an amazing stay at this cabin. The layout is ideal, with open common areas, large kitchen, and spaceous bedrooms. The two porches facing the water are ideal for relaxing and the rooftop deck above the boathouse is great to enjoy the breeze and amazing views of the lake. We loved the firepit too and there were plenty of chairs for us all to always comfotably relax where we were at on the property. The cabin in a short drive from the Ingles grocery store and many great restaurant options too. Easy check-in/check-out process and good communications from the owner. We loved the cabin and will hopefully stay here again in the future. We couldn't be happier with our stay!

We were very happy with this house- fantastic view and tons of room for 6 retired ladies on their annual ladies trip. We met the host Gwen who gave us some great recommendations and also quickly fixed a minor issue. We enjoyed the restaurants in Lake Lure. GreyHawk and Lured had great outdoor spaces and food. All of us agreed (no small feat for six 60 ladies) that we will return to Lake Lure next year and to this house!

Michael and I grew up in Kentucky. We attended college at Murray State University and married in June of 1999. We have been very blessed to have had the opportunity to live in many beautiful places around the United States. We have lived in Kentucky, the Chicago area, Las Vegas, South Florida and currently reside in Asheville, North Carolina. We have 3 children that range in age from 12-19.
Por qué eligió esta propiedad
After searching through many homes that were for sale and looking at various locations to build, it became clear as soon as we saw this point in Blue Herron neighborhood. The access to the lake is easy and the view is amazing. After finding right land location, we immediately began to look for a log cabin that had an open floor plan with many windows to capture the amazing lake view. We think we have found the whole package and can't wait to share it with you.
