Loved the home and its cozy feel. Check in was a breeze - we felt welcome immediately! Everything we needed was supplied- my husband enjoyed the hot tub, bed was super comfy- and morning coffee on the couch was a joy. Overall - great stay! Thanks again!

Serene Home in the Woods

Loved this place! It was a clean, quiet and wonderful place to stay with lots of trees. This place had all the comforts of home. The hot tub was also fun and a special touch.

Dahlonega was an unexpected surprise! The downtown is adorable and some of the local wineries are amazing! This house met all our needs. Loved the hot tub! The ONLY downside was the road in. We expected it to be a bit rough and it was, but it wouldn’t keep me from staying here again. Such a fun weekend!

Place was so cute and loved how it was decorated! We didn’t use the hot tub, little to warm outside. The only thing I would suggest is trying to do something about the faint smoke smell. It wasn’t too bad at all but you can tell there once was a smoker in the house. Other than that place was amazing and very charming!

Wonderful Stay!

Very clean, quiet, comfortable beds, and beautifully decorated. The place was just as pictured online. I was concerned about the drive up to the house as it is a dirt/ gravel road and bumpy in some spots but we were able to make it with no problems with our small sedan. Host was quick to reply when we had some questions. We only stayed one night but wish we could’ve stayed for longer!

Very cute property; we really enjoyed the soft beds, the hot tub/back porch area, and the decor inside the home. We had a very difficult time entering the property as the code we were told to use did not work. We could not get ahold of the owner in a timely manner and had to call VRBO help desk which also took a very long time. Was willing to overlook the check-in issue (which did get resolved within about 40 minutes upon arrival), however on our final night we were once again locked out of the house coming home from dinner and stuck outside in the dark waiting to hear back from the owner for about 20 minutes. Hard to look past those moments.

We really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The home was easy to find and exactly what we needed for a girls’ trip. It was small, cute, and cozy, and had a welcoming feel that made it comfortable to relax and spend time together.The only minor issues we experienced were with the hot tub and the indoor temperature. The hot tub did not reach a comfortable temperature until around 11 p.m., so we were not able to enjoy it when we first arrived, which would have been nice. Also, the temperature inside the house frequently dropped to about 65 degrees, so when we returned from being out, the house felt quite cold and took some time to warm back up.Overall, we had a great stay and appreciated the charm and location of the home. With a couple small adjustments, this would be an even better experience for future guests.

Clean, nice place

Good location….close to downtown Dahlonega, Cleveland, and Helen. Clean, nice house. There are 2 roads to get to the property. Do not take Cleveland Drive ever; it’s a terrible road, more like a pig path. The hot water does not last long, so you might want to spread out your showers/baths. We, also, couldn’t really figure out the thermostat, but it was ok. The fireplace made it cozy, and the hot tub was great! Great communication.

Do not book!!!! The host double booked us so when we got there people were still staying there and we were stranded after driving 4 hours to stay there! He was not accommodating and not quick to answer. Did not get a response after several messages for an hour. Only slightly apologetic and not helpful at all when we were stranded in an unknown town.

Hi Grace, we’re sorry for the experience, this was caused by a rare calendar sync error that led to a double booking. We did offer alternative options, but understand you chose to cancel. The calendar issue has since been resolved.

This place had everything we need. The Hot tub was clean and the back porch felt like you were in a treehouse, surrounded by beautiful, tall trees. The mattresses & pillows were cloud-like comfort… Best of any place we’ve ever stayed. The drive was easy via Major D Dr (we avoided Clementine which is the way my GPS wanted to take me). This property was a great hub for all of our adventures. Just Perfect. We may come back next year because there’s lots of fun & nature adventures near Dahlonega. Thanks for sharing this nice place!
