Welcome to Sunset Lodge! Whether you are looking for a getaway with friends or the family, (no pets allowed) Sunset Lodge has everything you need! Get ready to relax in our 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath retreat and admire the breath-taking unobstructed views of the North Georgia Mountains from the comfort of your back porch. Both of our Master bedrooms have new plush king size beds with mountain views and porch access, with the loft master having its own private deck. Bedroom 3 offers two full size beds located outside of the second living room/game room in the basement. All bedrooms have sound machines too. The game room offers a 12-foot shuffleboard table and vintage Ms. Pac Man arcade as well as many other board games to keep you and the family entertained for hours!
Sunset Lodge is located just minutes from downtown and several wineries/breweries with the award-winning Wolf Mountain Vineyard only a few miles away. For the explorer in you, lace up your walking shoes and take a hike at one of many nearby trails. Or head down the road to Appalachian Outfitters for a day on the water canoeing, kayaking, or tubing. If you prefer to take things a little slower, head over to the Historic Dahlonega Square, just a short 15 minute drive, for shopping, food and entertainment. Or if you enjoy creating a meal at home, our fully stocked kitchen makes that easy while our outdoor space welcomes grilling, lounging and beautiful sunsets! We look forward to hosing you!

Lovely view and very comfortable house with everything you need for a getaway in the mountains. Excellent options for relaxation with a group - choose from a deck on all 3 levels, or comfortable spaces inside, with plenty of games to choose from! Its about 20 minutes north of Dahlonega - we had all our dinners in the house!

Mini vaca

The property is absolutely beautiful. A small family of fox came out every morning and evening and a beautiful deer came by a couple of times. Very peaceful. Our grandchildren loved the game room thats were our grandson spent most of his time.

The home was absolutely gorgeous! The neighborhood was so beautiful and we wished we could have stayed longer. The host left everything labeled and had detailed instructions on how to get into the gated community, the lights in the home, and the tvs. The furniture was new, the appliances were new, and the comforters were all so cozy. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!! Highly recommend.

I've never stayed at a cleaner rental. The owners have thought of everything you might possibly need. The house has brand new appliances, luxury linens, and unbelievably comfortable mattresses. There are three decks with fantastic views of the mountains and the setting sun. It is very close to several vineyards and waterfalls. The charming town of Dahlonega is only around 15 minutes away. I was so impressed that the owner reached out before our stay to ensure we had the entrance codes. First class, all the way!

Girls’ Getaway Perfection in Dahlonega!This cabin was everything we hoped for—and more. Perfectly located with a breathtaking view that made morning coffee and sunset chats on the porch feel like pure magic. The space was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and gave us all the room we needed to relax, laugh, and reconnect.Our host was an absolute gem—responsive, kind, and communicative from start to finish. Every detail felt thoughtful, from the cozy touches inside to the peaceful quiet outside. The porches were our favorite hangout spot, and the serenity of the surroundings made it feel like we had our own slice of heaven.If you’re planning a girls’ trip or a family gathering filled with porch sitting, and memory making—this is your spot. We’ll be talking about this trip for years to come!

We had an amazing girls’ trip here with 6 women and couldn’t have asked for a better place. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and beautifully designed with a true luxurious log cabin feel. The attention to detail made it feel like home—quiet-closing doors, well cared for outdoor furniture, games, Alexa devices, and even a first aid kit. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and dishes, and the owners were super responsive whenever we had questions.We loved sitting together in the corner room and out on the decks, just talking and enjoying the peaceful views. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, and the whole space was warm and inviting.The only small drawback was being able to hear footsteps from the floor above at night, but it was minor and easily resolved with earplugs and didn’t take away from the overall experience.This cabin was perfect for our group and we’d definitely come back again!
