We travelled with our family including 2 babies and it was one of our best trips. The house was awesome, well stocked, everything we could ask for. Totally recommend!

This Home Has it All!!

This home has it all! Gorgeous home with stunning views and amazing amenities, Everything exceeded our expectations! The home was clean and spacious with comfortable beds, plenty of towels for both the bath and beach and all the right cooking utensils and appliances you would need. The garage has an abundance of beach gear making it so that you do not need to purchase anything for your days at the beach. The home's private pool and spa were perfect and the kids just loved the waterslide at the community pool. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and look forward to coming back one day soon!

Great property -- a few kinks to work out

This house is in a great location and has great amenities. It is fairly new, so there were a few small problems, like ceiling fans that didn't work and made bedrooms stuffy, and not great pans in the kitchen. But it fit our family very well and we made the most of the location to spend hours and hours at Mauna Kea Beach. Loved the access to the clubhouse and waterslide for the kids. All in all, very happy with our choice.

We recently stayed at Mauna Kea Magic with our adult children for a long-planned family vacation. It was PERFECT for our needs! The home was beautiful, spacious for all of us and very well-appointed. Everyone had their own space and we were able to gather together very comfortably. All of the extras were quite luxurious and we had a great experience and stay. Everything was so comfortable… from the bathroom towels to the beach towels! We felt very at home. The outdoor gathering space was perfect and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There were a couple of small things I needed to contact the property managers about and they were very prompt to respond. This home was on the golf course so there was some related noise early in the AM but coming from the West Coast, we were usually already up. The community pool and garden were lovely. The hosts at the pool were very helpful and welcoming and we were able to use herbs from the community garden for our meal prep. The home is perfectly located as a launch pad to explore Waimea, Kohala and Kona areas. We had great star-gazing from the back yard. We would certainly stay again! It was hard to leave such a lovely place!

The home was even better than in the photos

The home was even better than in the photos. It is very new so everything seemed so clean and new. The home had everything we needed for our family trip. We enjoyed the sunset views by the private pool after a fun day exploring. The kitchen was really well equipped and there was a nice large BBQ grill. The home is nicely decorated as a modern beach house which was refreshing after renting older homes in the past. We love a new professionally designed home. Our kids loved the big waterslide at the community pool which is a short walk from the home. The garage had lots of beach gear but we liked using the hotel beach chairs at Mauna Kea Beach. They even had paddle boards at the beach that we could use. We had stayed at Mauna Lani before that has a small beach club that is sometimes overcrowded so the ability to use Mauna Kea Beach hotel beach chairs and not have to fight over getting one of the few free parking spots has us hooked on staying in the actual Mauna Kea Resort from now on. The property managers communicated instructions really well and were very prompt when we asked for one thing that needed to be replaced. While this new community still seems a bit of a secret, we are sure word will get out which will be a shame as the kids really loved having that water slide to themselves.
