There was a lot of issues with the property

They don’t tell you about the broken things inside or the little marks on the walls the stairs were dirty and the floor needed to be swept again because I guess the swept and mopped but they was still dirty and pieces of trash on the floor. The carpet was dirty. I had to personally clean up before my guest arrived.

I really enjoyed my stay here! everything was clean and nicely set up. the bedrooms were beautiful and so were the bathrooms, the neighbors were friendly and i was even able to host a small gathering for my birthday and it just overall made my visit a 10/10

Just the facts

Postives: -The bathrooms were clean -Appliances are new and nice -The host answered quickly when I reached out -The bedrooms were clean with comfortable beds Facts: -The apartment is located in West Philadelphia. -Each day, there was a strong smell of marijuana coming from the apartment next door. We could not smell it in the apartment. -The people next door played music loudly that could easily be heard in the apartment until about 10:00 p.m. -The building across the street is abandoned with boarded up windows. -There were crumbs and hair on the floor in the kitchen and family room when we first arrived. When I notified the owner, she said it can't be dirty because they just cleaned but gave me permission to sweep it up. -The dishwasher was full of clean dishes when we arrived. -There was not a garbage bag liner for the kitchen garbage and no liners that I saw. We were told we would be fined if we got into the cleaning closet, so I did not look there for liners to avoid a fine (but was given permission to get the broom out to clean up when we arrived). -There was no dish soap. I was told I could fill the empty container with dish soap from the closet, but I couldn't open the container and was afraid of breaking it so I didn't fill it. -There were 2 wash cloths for a three day stay. I asked the owner if there were more. She said the housekeeper would deliver more. That did not happen. -There was no ice maker and no container to make ice.

Not a great choice

For those staying in Philly, I would avoid this property. When we arrived, the floors were sticky, the area rug was covered in dirt and stains and smelled, And the top step of the landing was broken and dangerous. When we talked to the landlord, she mentioned that there had been a big party held there the weekend before and this was the cleanest they could get it. We had to go find another hotel to stay in for the two days that we were there and we asked her if she would at least make the courtesy of giving us one nights refund. She agreed to do it and then decided not to.. There appear to be lots of great places to stay in Philly, I would stay away from this one.

Overall, not too bad just in a terrible dangerous neighborhood. Unless you’re comfortable staying in the hood of hoods, I recommend that you do not stay here. There were no blankets for the beds and the floor was kind of sticky.
