Recently updated for a fresh, stylish, and comfortable stay, Finger Lakes Chalets is a secluded yet conveniently located haven set on 14 acres. Enjoy local hiking, wineries, craft breweries, and nearby restaurants in Canandaigua and Naples. It's the perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility.

Property Overview: Finger Lakes Chalets is a historic homestead, originally built in the 1880s, and features two dwellings on the property, along with a classic New York State barn. The main chalet, known as The Little House, boasts a newly updated full kitchen, washer and dryer, and fresh furnishings, bathroom vanities, flooring, and stylish decor, making it a comfortable and modern sanctuary.

The second dwelling, The Farmhouse Annex, is equally charming. It includes a kitchenette but does not have a washer and dryer. Despite this, it remains cozy, well-appointed, and inviting.

Relax & Explore: This is the perfect place to escape, relax, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Take advantage of the spacious grounds, with plenty of room to stretch your legs while strolling around the lawns. The 0.6 miles of woodland trails surrounding the property offer the perfect setting for a nature walk or hike.

For those who prefer a quiet night in, stock up on provisions in nearby Canandaigua and enjoy cooking a delicious dinner on the outdoor grills (several are available on the property).

A Perfect Location for Exploring the Finger Lakes: While Finger Lakes Chalets offers a private retreat, it is by no means isolated. It’s ideally located between Canandaigua to the north and Naples to the south, giving you access to many wonderful amenities, activities, attractions, and restaurants. A great bonus—Heron Hill Winery’s Tasting Room is located just across from our road, making it a short walk for an afternoon wine tasting. Many of our guests enjoy this convenient option.

Peaceful ! Just what we needed a weekended away. Watching deer eat in the morning was so peaceful. Host was excellent in accommodations with anything we needed. Highly recommended for a couple that needs a weekend away

What a beautiful, peaceful property this is. You don’t really realize how much noise you hear until it’s gone. You’re not far from all things Canandaigua, but you can feel like you’re far away from everything if that’s what you want. Will definitely stay again. It was very hard to leave.

Beautiful property, pool very clean, in the sun for the afternoon, so nice.Host very responsive to door lock on arrival, since I had blue tooth on for my phone but not in the door lock app itself, need both! There may be a second remote for the TV which controls volume that we couldn't locate. We were there for the concert, not for TV, so no regrets. Wish there was recycling for glass and aluminum. We enjoyed getting to know our way around the area and recommend Rebecca as a super host.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and inviting. We had a great time in the pool as well. The location is perfect. Just a short drive to historic downtown and the lake.

This little house was a great space for two parents and two young kids. The house was cozy and could use a little maintenance (nothing major), but was lovely and comfortable. The property grounds, however, were the star of the stay. Our kids swam everyday in the pool; we used the outdoor grill; drank morning coffee on the porch; and spent time outside admiring the flowers, grape vines, and large secluded lawn that comes with a firepit (didn't use because we were too tired at the end of the days, haha). The listing was a bit confusing because it shows two buildings on the property but indicates it is private, so we weren't entirley sure what to expect upon arrival. It was in fact a private, not shared property, and I assume the second building was the property owner's, but no one was using it while we were there. The location was also great - only 20 minutes from the town of Canandaigua, and scenic drives to other Finger Lakes, state parks, amusmenet parks, wineries, breweries, and we even managed a day trip back and forth to Niagara Falls. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it highly.

The little house got everything you need for gateway. The pool is awesome, the house is clean and cozy. It's close enough to drive to the town but away from noises and crowds. Highly recommend the place!

Perfect home base for our weekend trip

This adorable little house was perfect for our weekend stay. It is set in a peaceful location and is an easy drive to nearby Canandaigua. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed.The owner was responsive and accommodating when we had a small challenge with the door opening app which was quickly resolved.We were very pleased with this home and would recommend it for others who want to be near Canadaigua but away from the busyness of the city.

Everything about our stay was amazing! We had a great time relaxing by the pool, and seeing what the lake had to offer. The house itself is perfect, and the manager of the home was very accommodating and fast to respond to questions. Will 100% be back!

Fantastic!

Outstanding property that is spacious and manicured! Host (Rebecca) makes you feel right at home in the cozy Little House. We had such a wonderful time, swimming in the very clean & comfortable pool, and walking around the large property. The bed is as comfortable as they get, and we slept great. I wish we could have stayed even longer than the four days that we booked. Can’t wait to stay at this fantastic property again! Thank you.

4th of July weekend

Such an amazing stay! The property is breathtaking!! Rebecca is an amazing host. She provides literally everything. Very cozy and relaxing especially poolside. My kids did not wanna leave and neither did we. She even let us check in a few hours earlier which was so nice and helpful. If I could give 10 stars I would. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Worth every penny spent. 1000% will be back. We enjoyed cooking out. Camp fire fun. Of course the entire day in and out of the pool. The front porch is so relaxing. We also had the nicest couple who stayed in one of the other chalets. Can’t wait to come back with the family!!

This property was even BETTER than it looked online! Huge field and wooded area with small walkable trails, lit seating areas by the trees, and a clean private pool that might have been salt water. This was our first vacation as a family, and our daughter loved it. Would love to stay again. Thank you!
