You really never know what you are getting when you book, but this house was easy to get to and on a gorgeous property. We all enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very kind and helpful.

This place is a gem! It was our first trip to NY state and this property did not disappoint! I challenge you to find a better view, especially at night looking at the lake from the hot tub!So cozy and homey, plenty of room inside and out, and a game system on the lower level that any gamer will love!The hosts, the Johnson's, are wonderful to work with. If we every go back, I would rent this property again for sure!! Love, love, love this home and grateful they shared it with us!

Wow! I can’t imagine a more beautiful spot for a weekend getaway. The house is impeccable, the views are breathtaking, and we’d absolutely book again/tell others to book. The hosts were so kind and gracious and easy to communicate with.

We had a wonderful stay at this Canandaigua property. It was ideal for our group, with each guest having their own floor, while still providing great, shared spaces for everyone to gather. The indoor common area was comfortable and inviting, and the wrap-around deck offered spectacular views. The location was within easy reach of many interesting things to do, including beach visits, hiking, and dining. The property was exceptionally well-maintained, and the host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this property!

Great getaway for couples. We were traveling with two other couples so we each got our own bedrooms and bathrooms on our own separate floors.The view is amazing! Everything is open concept and clean-cut.Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The views of the lake are absolutely stunning, and the location is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The owners were incredibly responsive, friendly, and thoughtful, checking in several times to make sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our stay.Our only minor suggestion would be to have a few more dishes available, especially coffee mugs. It certainly didn't take away from our experience, though.Overall, the property exceeded our expectations, the owners were fantastic hosts, and their recommendation to watch the sunrise from the hot tub was absolutely spot on. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and we would happily stay here again.

Amazing views!

This house in Canandaigua was perfect for our family. It has so much space and was clean and had everything we needed. The arcade games and shuffleboard table were a huge bonus as well as the hot tub. The best part was the view of Canandaigua Lake. Just breathtaking! The host was amazing and very quick to respond to questions.

Quiet with beautiful views

Spacious, clean property with amazing views over Canandaigua lake. It was perfect for a small reunion with my sisters. We found plenty of things to do for the weekend from hiking to wine tasting. Our hosts were easy to contact and answered questions promptly.

This is an outstanding property. The view of the lake is fantastic. The property is very private. Hot tub was nice. Inside of the house is very nice and well kept. I highly recommend this property for family or a group of adults. Game room was a nice feature too. The host was fantastic and highly reponsive to our inquiries! I would definitely keep this place in mind for future visits to the area. Check in and check out were easy.

Great View

Great property with plenty of room for our three generation group. The only negative was the lack of A/C in the main living area. However, the bedrooms all had window units which made them comfortable and closing the blinds in the morning and the ceiling fan helped. We had a great stay.

Beautiful well appointed property! Ahilltop house, quiet, with a stunning view of the lake! We used the hot tub every day, and had a great game room that had indoor and outdoor games. Fire pit as well. The house was clean, comfortable and beds were very cozy. There was A/C , kitchen was well stocked, and complimentary coffee fit the bill! This property was so nice, it was hard to leave for any day trips.Thank you, Mike and Kyra. We hope to be back again soon.

Beautiful setting, spacious house but some vital things were missing. The main floor bedroom had no dressers or closets or even hooks. Kitchen lacked basics like cooking oil, sugar and serving bowls etc which was present at all the other Vrbo homes we previously rented.Some shower fixtures were broken, not enough hot water for more than two people taking less than 5 minute showers. Upstairs shower drain would back up after a minute. Dirty bath mat and no hand towel present at the main floor bathroom.I also felt that detailed direction to the property was missing. The main road was closed where the property is located, and we had to figure out how to get to the house which also had no numbers visible from the road.This home has a beautiful location and good structure, just needs some attention to details to make it a complete Vrbo experience which we are used to.

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately we would not recommend for other hosts to rent to you. The house was left filthy, with food left in pots and pans, refrigerator was left full of old food. Garbage left. None of the checkout directions were followed during checkout. We live there 8 months a year and can tell you you can take multiple 10-15 minute showers, so that statement is an exaggeration. She and her group is never welcome to rent our home again.

Amazing property!

The host was easy to communicate with. The property was amazing and fit our group of 8 perfectly. We had 2 sets of families, ages ranged from 11 to 48. The views are breathtaking and the location of the property was perfectly peaceful yet close to a near by town. We visited the local park often where it had volleyball, basketball, tennis, a pooltable among many other things to do.

Beyond Expectations

A great place for us and our 2 adult children’s families! The views were exceptional overlooking the like, and the location provided seclusion for us. The beach at the bottom of the hill is perfect for all ages. The house was great! Each family took a separate level for privacy, and the main level is great for all to gather. All supplies were provided, and we can’t recommend it enough for your consideration.
