It is a nice place. However the value proposition is lacking because there are rules and placards everywhere. No shoes allowed in the house, a 200 fine if you move furniture, they ask you to squeegee not only the shower door, but all the walls. The towels are contemporary, thin, and scratchy. The nested coffee table was covered in dust when I pulled it out. There are notecards on how to clean the microwave and other appliances, but no coffee maker use instructions. The tea kettle has a lot of residue in it, unusable to me. The roof cracks and pops as it warms up and cools down, sounds like having very loud neighbors. 5pm check-in and 10am checkout for a downtown location is not guest-friendly. The a/c is whistly. They are adamant about no pets, but there’s a dog bed right when you walk in the door, so if you’re trying to avoid an allergy be aware (lots of faux fur throws and rugs also). It is a nice place, the kitchen is fantastic and has great amenities… but to spend 400 a night, I look for hospitality and people who enjoy hosting not rules heavy places who are more cognizant of trying to minimize their costs and putting them on the renter. (They also recommend a tip for the cleaning people after already charging a cleaning fee).
