We are in close proximity to Spinnakers, Club LaVela, Pineapple Willies, Shipwreck Water Park, Gulf World, Zoo World, Publix Supermarket, Super Wal-Mart, Thunder Beach Bike Week Ralley

Convientally located midbeach, the property has a large gulf side pool, and snack bar, crossing the "strip" through a pedestrian gate, leaves behind the noise and hustle bustle of the beach and leads you to the quiet neighborhood like setting of Gulf Highlands. Less than 900 feet to the unit and your own private 2 car parking area (no parking garages or elevators to deal with here !) The resort has 11 pools, (two of which are located right out the back door patio of our unit surrounded by your own personal recreation area, for 18 holes of free putt putt, and shuffleboard) All of which is veiwable from the patio and upper back deck (a great place to turn loose the kids and keep an eye on them as well !. Relaxing Beach Stay

Beautiful property right next to putt putt golf and one pool. This condo was an easy walk to the beach and the property is well maintained.

Wonderful

We had a great stay! Pools and putt putt are right out the back door and the walk to the beach is easy. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. We will definitely be back!

Sweet time in PCB

Had a fantastic time at this property. I highly recommend taking the Island Time Snorkel trip to Shell Island. Also the I Can't Decide at Bayou on the Beach! Danny is a friendly host and the property has all you need for a great stay.

This was a great home base for enjoying PCB: Loved having the putt putt right off our patio and two pools. Dog friendly home.

Danny was a very good host kept in constant contact with us to make sure everything was going ok for us couldn't ask for a better host and the condo and community was very nice highly recommend

Sweet space

Everything was great! But the just made the biggest impact. It’s nice to have people that still care about other people and their happiness. He made it extra special just by caring about us and our stay. It was great! That’s why we booked it again for next year! Can’t wait!!

PCB getaway

Great place for a beach vacation for a family with pets! The community has multiple pools, putt putt golf course (right behind the condo), and a little playground (for young kids). A little walk to the beach, but easy access. Owner is very friendly and attentive!

Great week with my family and a great place to stay!

Nice quiet gated community with great amenities. The unit was clean and located in the close of everything (Pool, gates, walked to beach everyday, put put golf). Easy access to the beach, entertainment, and all of the supplies that the we needed. Definitely a great place to stay. Owner Danny was easy to work with great communication. Thanks for being pet friendly!

Perfect stay!

Dan has thought of everything to make for a wonderful beach vacation! The condo is clean, has great amenities inside and out. We enjoyed putt-putt golf, pools, work out room, and of course the beautiful beach! Easy walk to gulf especially with wagon. Cooler, golf clubs & balls, beach toys included. Definitely looking forward to renting again.

Perfect family vacation

Gulf Highlands is the perfect place for a family vacation and this unit was in a great location. Having the putt putt and pools right out the back door was great and we loved being able to watch the turtles from the patio. The unit was clean and had a great open layout! We had an amazing time! Be sure to check our St Andrews State Park, it was by far our favorite place! We went snorkeling for the first time ever and it was completely amazing! Thanks Dan for renting out such a great place!

Family Friendly Vacation

We enjoyed our stay very much. Dan was amazing, he made sure we had everything we needed and check-in was smooth. He checked on us during our stay as well. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed . It is within walking distance to beach and the heated pool was right out back. I enjoyed sitting on the porch off the master bedroom every morning with a cup of coffee. My boys enjoyed putt putt and there were many kids to play with. We give our stay an A+ and will definitely be back .

We will rent here again!

This was hands-down the best property and experience that I’ve had staying at Gulf Highlands. I’ve always loved staying at GH but Dan has EVERYTHING you need. Beach cart, umbrella, boogie boards and sand toys. It was just myself & 3 kids so these amenities were a great surprise and so necessary. Closest walk we’ve had to the beach too. Dan was also the easiest and kindest person to rent from. GREAT VISIT!!

FAMILY TIME

Danny was an awesome host.. whether before our trip or after, he would immediately respond to any question I had. The unit had been updated since the pictures that were shown in the VRBO listing, and this was a pleasant surprise. The grounds of the property and the many amenities were just as listed, and the beach was a short 4-5 minute walk. I would definitely rent this property again and look forward to doing so.... Our stay in Panama City

First time here,our late vacation, but very happy there.Condo is a bit older,but comfortable and it has everything you need and also pet friendly. Communication with owner Dan was superb, he is very nice person and you can call him day or night if you have any problem or concerns. Location is great as well,close to stores,restaurants, you name it.Beach access is easy cca 7-8 min walk.We were very happy there. Thank you again Mr.Dan for everything.

Great family vacation at PCB

Had a great time in Panama City Beach at the condo in Gulf Highlands Resort. The condo had everything we needed for our two week stay. Loved the convenience of the two pools just a couple of hundred yards from the back door and the short walk to the beach. The owner Dan was responsive and very accommodating. Great place to stay!

My 2 children, husband, and I traveled to PCB for a softball tournament. We stayed for a week at Dan's place. It was perfect for us. The place has been updated and it was decorated beautifully. The beds were comfortable and clean. There were plenty of towels. The AC was cold. The washroom was accessible from inside. It backs up to putt-putt and two pools within walking distance. We didn't need to rent a golf cart, though the kids really wanted to. We parked our truck at the closest pool and walked to the beach. Dan had everything we needed, chairs, beach toys, umbrella, and even a wagon. The kitchen had all the appliances and pots I needed for cooking. I appreciated Dan calling to make sure everything was going great. We will definitely be staying here again!

Good value for what it is.

In good location resort-wise as it backing (via small patio) to mini-golf course and swimming pools at 1 min walking distance (one behind and one to the right) . Unit itself needs some minor fixes ...little outdated and diff remotes drove me nuts..wish all TVs had same universal remote... Still, essentially good value for the money. The resort seems to be well upkept with swimming pools pretty much empty.. although I was told it will get pretty busy in the season. Dan was very responsive to the texts and concerns.

Our family of 4 and our dogs recently made the trip down from Maryland and spent a week in Dan's unit. The rental was well stocked and clean. We had an issue with the internet/cable during our stay, but Dan was right on top of the issue and had it quickly resolved! We've never had such excellent service from a property owner!! The rip currents were a little strong during our stay, so having access to the many pools was fantastic for our kids! We also loved that we could send them right out back to play putt putt in our down time. The unit is within walking distance to the beach, and Dan has provided a cart to haul all the beach stuff. We had a great week and would definitely stay here again!

Miserable

I spoke with Dan prior to our stay regarding a bad review and he assured me everything would be acceptable. The beds were very uncomfortable, had to buy a mattress topper to get sleep. The shower is only 5 minutes of warm water. The floor was filthy. All the furniture was dirty and uncomfortable. We couldn’t use the coffee maker because it was dirty. I spoke with Dan regarding some of the issues, and he is very nice and attentive while you are there, however I sent him pictures of some of the issues after checkout and he won’t respond. We left the Condo exactly as we found it.

Horrible upkeep, terrible beds, filthy floors and trash from past stay.

I will start by saying the host was very good about communicating, but the property was not taken care of at all. Our feet were absolutely filthy from just walking from a chair to the bathroom. There were bottles from previous guests left by the cleaning staff. The beds were the worst I have ever slept in. I have never been to a rental with NO paper towels, toilet paper or trash bags, but this one didn’t have anything. The grill was completely rusted through the bottom, the beach cart was a joke. It wouldn’t even roll properly. We were excited at first to use it, but it was such a rusty mess. The furniture was very run down and stained. The kitchen was decently stocked, but everything clearly needed some updating. The linens on the beds was very subpar at best. Overall, we were not thrilled with this unit at all. The host did call me the day before our checkout to let me know that due to a review, he realized there were some issues that needed addressed. Hopefully, some of those issues are some mentioned here and have been corrected.
