The Storeytime Stay is the perfect spot for a short visit to the Rock Hill area or an extended stay for a work assignment, sporting event, convention, wedding, historical interests, etc.
Our clean, comfortable apartment offers a kitchenette, a designated work space, and a spacious layout. Enjoy the fresh country air on the front porch, which leads to your own private entrance.
While the apartment is attached to our house and a busy family lives there, our goal is to maintain your privacy.
Upon entering your first floor apartment through your own private entrance, you will be welcomed into a newly remodeled apartment and brand new full bathroom. The entire apartment is yours to enjoy as well as a covered porch to sit and enjoy an early morning cup of coffee or breathe in the fresh country air at the end of the day.
The queen size comfortable bed will offer you a much needed restful night of sleep. A fan and a white noise machine may assist in that as well. The kitchenette includes a microwave, mini fridge and freezer, toaster, coffee maker, and small frying pan. There is table and chairs to enjoy your meals at. A designated work space will be helpful for planning out your day or finishing your work day. Enjoy the ambience an electric fireplace provides or sit in a comfortable chair and watch TV, or a movie, or read in the relaxing, quiet space. The bathroom is spacious with plenty of room to set up a luggage rack and make your things easily accessible.
This is a no smoking/ no vaping of any kind on the premises.

This was an extremely clean room and spacious bathroom with everything you need. Great host and communication. Beats a hotel!

Great room, hope they add an all in one washer/dryer for future guest and it would be perfect. For a single person or couple it is a great stay for the rate.

Very Clean and comfortable. The location was in a rural location which provided some much-needed peace and quiet while I caught up on work - WiFi was excellent. I would definitely recommend Storeytime as a great choice for 1-2 people if you're travelling through Rock Hill, SC.

What a cute property! Everything you need and then some. I’d you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet setting, this is for you.I want to know where you got that blanket! It was so cozy and comfy. Clearly I’m not shopping in the right place. Then there’s the bathroom with a walk in shower! For my old bones, I could not have asked for more.

Rarely saw the hosts. The apartment was adequate and clean (other than the shower which obviously had not been cleaned having a used bar of soap with hair). Having a hot plate for our mocha pot would have been nice.

Highly recommend this place. Owners were super accomodating. We needed a plce to spend the night on our way to Jacksonville, FL from Weirton, WV. We were hauling a trailer and truck bed full of our sons belongings for his move and didnt want to stay in a hotel with an unsecure lot. Matt and Kedron's place couldnt have been more perfect for us. They even made sure that we could fit our truck/trailer in the driveway by moving their cars ahead of time. The space itself was quite possibly the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. And it was very well stocked, handsomely decorated, and comfortable. Highly reccomend if just passing through, or staying a while.

My husband and i stayed one night here as we were passing through to our vacation destination. Very cute place. Quiet and clean. The size was perfect for just the two of us. However, glad we only stayed one night as you do not have access to adjust the temperature of the room. When we arrived it was an igloo inside. Had to sit on the front porch to keep from freezing. Messaged the host to ask if we were overlooking the thermostat. She adjusted for us from the main house. I tossed and turned all night because then it was too hot. Can’t very well message the host in the middle of the night. Fortunate we were only staying one night. There are some handwritten notes throughout, but no clear Guest Rules like every other place we’ve stayed. The host was very nice and quick to respond. However, the lack of access to the thermostat, we would not stay here again.

Matt and Kedron have called Rock Hill home for over 25 years. We moved to our current house 10+ years ago to be able to enjoy the country setting. Matt has worked as an arborist with Bartlett Tree Experts for 25+ years and currently serves as Director of Arboretum Grounds at Bartlett's Research Lab and and Arboretum in Charlotte. Kedron has been a stay-at-home mom for their 5 children. She continues to homeschool and also provides elderly care and housecleaning for 2 families. Kedron also enjoys making Storeytime Stay a clean and comfortable place for our guests.
As travelers who enjoy using rental properties ourselves, we love offering a hotel alternative to folks. We enjoy providing the "small touches" that make staying at a property so comfortable.
