This place has been an amazing experience. Everything flowed effortlessly. The hosts are extremely accommodating. Very fun town and great for children. Nice neighborhoods to walk the dogs in and Casey’s is 1 block away; easy to walk to for any needs that come up. Decor in the apartment cute and comfy. Pickle ball was a hit for the kids. We will definitely come back to this place over and over again.

This is an AMAZING place to stay if you are exploring the area for a weekend! My wife and I did some local hiking, and will certainly stay here again when we return. Stephanie and David are wonderful hosts and make the vibe so welcoming. Breakfast in their cafe is a must also.

The hosts were very welcoming, the amenities were very clean, comfortable and affordable. The room has an excellent view and the town it is in is very nice and the people very kind. Would recommend a trip in here for everybody.

This is our second time staying here and it is such a beautiful, cozy and wonderful place. We love the spacious and beautifully decorated rooms! Love the cafe and boutique as well. The food and drinks are awesome. Highly recommend!

Cute, clean, and comfortable small upstairs apartment! Very appreciative of the king-size bed! My biggest wish was for an apartment size refrigerator with a freezer instead of the beverage cooler with no freezer. This apartment was perfect for two people. The hosts were very responsive and replied quickly and efficiently.

Mountain View is a fabulous place to stay. It is beautiful, comfortable, and has everything you need for your stay. It is located near many State Parks to enjoy hiking. The cafe serves the most delicious coffee and food you'll find anywhere. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Pickle and Perk.

Wonderful Stay

Very cute place in beautiful area. Easy check-in, clean home, and comfy bed. The coffee shop below was really good with a beautiful patio. Location was perfect to access Elephant Rocks, Johnson Shut-ins, and Taum Sauk Mountain parks.

Our stay was amazing! The hosts were very nice and personable. The mountain view room was perfect for our stay and so cute. The cafe downstairs had some incredible food and the whole place was a lot of fun. Would definitely come back in the warmer months to use the courtyard and pickleball. Highly recommend Pickle and Perk! The location is also close to a lot of historical and natural landmarks.

Best stay ever!

We loved everything about our stay at Pickle and Perk - the cozy and inviting atmosphere both indoor and out, the thoughtful accommodations, delicious coffee and fresh farm-to-table style homemade breakfast downstairs, and of course, the wonderful hosts. Hands down, the best rental we have ever stayed in. Stephanie and Dave have done an amazing job with this place and have gone out of their way to make it a special and unforgettable experience. We will be back for sure and can't wait!

Spring break hike

Hosts were great. As we were getting in there was a major storm hitting the area. Hosts met us as we got there and offered us a safe place to stay if we needed ( thankfully we didn’t). Great place to stay while we hiked in the area. And a great match of pickle ball. And can’t forget a great latte and matcha

Hidden Hometown Gem

These owners were very friendly, hospitable and supportive of the local community. Despite being off season and on a Sunday, they offered to open the coffeehouse and make us a drink and chatted for a good 15 minutes! The mountain view suite was a great pick for us and had quite few amenities, on top of being clean, stylish and comfortable without fussiness. Looking forward to a return trip!

The room was very aesthetic and cute! There were just a couple of things we didn’t like being no sugar or cream for our coffee, the tv in the bedroom was low and the walking space was small so I hit my head on it 3 times, and the last day we were there the shower didn’t get hot- we ran it for over 10 minutes and it never got hot. We really enjoyed the vibes and the mood setting lights. We wish the coffee shop downstairs had been available while we were there but we found another one close by!

A few notes that may help future guests. The bedroom TV is on a fully adjustable wall mount and can be pulled forward or repositioned for easier viewing if needed. Regarding coffee, we don’t stock cream and sugar in the suites as Pickle & Perk operates as a café during the season, and during our winter hours we encourage guests to explore the other great local coffee options nearby. We’re sorry to hear you experienced an issue with the shower. We were not notified during your stay, and our welcome instructions ask guests to reach out right away if anything isn’t working properly so we can address it immediately and make their stay more comfortable. Great place to stay!

My only criticism of this property is that it states it 'sleeps 6'. There is a king size bed & a small pull-out couch. We got crafty & made it work. With the couch pulled out as a bed, there was very little seating. Other than that, hosts were great & friendly. We'd stay here again but it would be more of a getaway.

Absolutely loved our stay at Mountain View!

We had the absolute best time and were thoroughly impressed with the property we stayed at during our trip to Ironton. The owners knocked the rental out of the park with cleanliness, aesthetic, and being accommodating. We didn’t need anything, everything we could have asked for was already thought of and readily available. The coffee shop and pickle ball courts below the property was such a hit with my kids. It was so fun to lounge in the outdoor area at night, beautifully lit and cozy, and allow the kids to hangout as well. In the morning we enjoyed the coffee, menu items, items and treats from Pickle & Perk. 10/10 was our experience for sure! We will definitely be back!

We were back for the second year and still love everything about this place! From the clean, trendy rooms, cafe, and the patio with so much to do, it continues to impress us from year to year. We absolutely love sitting on the deck in the morning drinking our coffee and looking at the mountain view. Getting ready to book for a third year!

This place is amazing! It did not disappoint. The hosts were great and super friendly. Our kids enjoyed the pickle ball court and pinpong table. There's also a cute little play area across the street to take the littles to. Kudos to the the hosts for bringing such a welcoming space with so much charm and culture. We will definitely be back!

Very nice place to stay when you’re in the Ironton Missouri area. Very close to many state park. The coffee shop had some of the best muffins we’ve ever had close proximity to restaurants with an easy walk to everything downtown Ironton. Pics are 100% accurate which in my experience with VRBOs is rare.
