This property was beautiful! We looked and didn't find hiking trails on the property and it's a BYO kayak situation, but we went about 15 minutes away to Elephant Rocks State Park to hike and it was so much fun. The lodge on the property is very close to the cabin but it's hidden by trees, so we could hear the guests there sometimes but rarely saw them. The cabin itself was great - it was so nice to sit on the porch in the morning and look out over the lake.

It was very serene sitting on the porch at sunset. The jacuzzi tub was nice after a morning of hiking. It was too hot out to make a day of it! Very convenient location for Elephant Rocks and Johnson’s Shut Ins.

What a wonderful place to stay for a weekend getaway with the family. Our children loved the water and fishing, so did the dog. The location was perfect for all hiking areas. The cabin had everything we needed and more. Definitely the place to stay!

Exactly as advertised. Beautiful setting, comfortable beds, clean and close to everything in Arcadia Valley. Very good value. Living room seating options are limited and there's no shower in the master bathroom.

Perfect home with plenty of privacy but still very close to everything. My family absolutely loved the house. My boys couldn’t wait to get back to the house to fish. It was extremely spacious and a beautiful spot away from the city lights to see the stars. Very good value for a quick weekend getaway and I would definitely recommend this place to others.

We loved our stay at this charming & private cabin! It was adequately supplied for cooking, etc. The only thing we couldn’t locate (could be we overlooked it) was a grill brush. The lake was beautiful to wake up and drink coffee to. There were some small boats available, we had a blast paddling around and catching a few crappie and perch. We saw a few geese, a muskrat, and a Bald Eagle. It’s a great central location if you’re going to Johnson’s Shut-Ins, Elephant Rock SP, and the Castor River Shut-Ins. I recommend this cabin for your local stay/vacation!

We wanted a quick getaway near Elephant Rocks State Park, and this cabin was clean, comfortable and pet-friendly. We really enjoyed the games provided as well as the jetted bathtub.

Nice beds, quiet neighborhood, Pond across the street is nice. Very close to Taum Sauk and the Abbey. Great location to stay if you are in town to mountain bike or hike. Bring the paddleboard!

Our stay was fantastic! Pristine and charming wood cabin. Everything was new, and well stocked. We loved the jacuzzi tub and the beds were SO comfortable. It was perfect for our family of 4. The property was beautiful as well. We will be back!

This place and location was awesome! Just out of town but private. Super clean and quiet. Great food choices in town too. If you want relaxation this is one of the best!!! The host was A!!!

Absolutely incredible cabin! The host was very accommodating in the cabin was very clean. I will definitely stay again in the summer! Peers for swimming and a secluded quiet area. The cabin is an excellent condition and very well equipped. The spot tub was excellent and the satellite internet was more than acceptable! I can't say there was anything bad about this place. I loved it! The host is very good at communicating as well.

Very nice cabin. The living room could use some more seating. There is only a small love seat. We loved the fully stocked kitchen anf laundry area.

It was a beautiful place with awesome facilities, would stay again in a heartbeat. Just as a heads up there was a poisonous snake we saw near the front of the home however it is probably unavoidable because of proximity to the waterfront. Just be careful if you check in at night like we did!

The cabin was great! The kids loved the bathtub with jets. It was perfectly located between our Johnston Shut ins and Elephant Rock adventures. The lake was not as accessible for swimming due to natural moss build up but we were able to go fishing. We will definitely return!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin on the lake. Everything was as advertised. The cabin was very clean with a fresh smell upon entering. The location was close to local restaurants and points of interest. We brought several games to play but the cabin was equipped with multiple games for different ages and interests. I would recommend this cabin for anyone staying in this area.

Wow, what a beautiful place and location! This new build is beautiful inside and out. Had morning coffee on the front porch looking out over the lake and watching wildlife. If you need a secluded beautiful place near several state parks or to go on a float, this is your place. This place is stocked with everyrything you need. We will definitely be back.

Host was excellent. I had many questions. She patiently answered them all. The property was beautiful. Peaceful, quiet, and picture perfect. The cabin was brand new with ample room, rustic Decor, lots of games, a fire pit area, and a great view of the lake. My kids loved sleeping in the loft area. I would love to stay there again.
