Charming Creekside Cabin next to 4 Mile Creek with mountain views. Dog friendly!

Native cottonwood trees and 4 Mile Creek surround you with the sights and sounds of nature and tranquility. Relax in comfortable wicker chairs as the sun rises to greet you on your covered front porch. Prepare your favorite breakfast in the full kitchen and take your pick of all the adventures the area has to offer. Head off to the Arkansas River Trail just minutes away where you can hike, bike and walk the dog along a wide gravel trail. Take in the beautiful farmland, pastures and natural wooded areas all around you. The Royal Gorge Park with its suspension bridge and train are just an 8 minute drive from the cabin. This area is well known for white water rafting, mountain biking, hiking and rock climbing. The secluded, private cabin is just minutes away from historic downtown Canon City. Main street offers many unique shops, architecture, restaurants, art galleries, breweries, roof top dining and the St. Abby's Winery. The city has lots of activities from antique car shows, to street fairs and music festivals. After a long day, grill out front and enjoy a beautiful sunset over the Wet Mountains. On a clear night sit on the bench by the creek while the stargazing and rushing water combine to create wonderful memories. Build a fire in the brick fire ring on the beach area and roast marshmallows. (Check fire ban status with Canon City Fire Dept at (719) 275-8666.) Inside the cozy cabin, relax on the dual recliner sofa before retiring upstairs to a large bedroom with 2 queen size beds. Let the sound of the creek lull you into a good night’s sleep. Note: The stairs are very steep. Light switches are at the top and bottom along with handrails. Please consider this for young children under 13 and adults with limited mobility.

This is the second time we have stayed at this adorable property!! It is small and comfortable and all you need for a quiet getaway. Great location, host provides many little extras, and it is an easy check in and out process. We love the cabin!

Great little cabin just outside off of town. Meticulously, clean and very cozy. Has air-conditioning and heater. The bed was very comfortable. Great little spot for a couple or someone on a fishing trip like myself. Close to town and all its amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

This is the cutest little cabin with every amenity you can think of. Fully stocked kitchen, air conditioning, very clean. We enjoyed listening to the stream outside the living g room and walking around the property. Shari and Mike are attentive when something wasn't right, like hot water heater needing turned up. We want to come again next year. Oh, very pet friendly too either dog treats, food and water station, blankets etc.

The steps to the loft are VERY steep and rather treacherous. Not a good stay for anyone who isn’t comfortable with stairs. Also hot water was tepid at best.

The cabin is so quaint and cozy- my family enjoyed the weekend immensely. The creek right next to the cabin is not only gorgeous but makes for some great sleeping sounds. Absolutely recommend this cabin especially for anyone that loves a farm setting

I will definitely return and stay longer. The location is easy to get in and out. Very quiet and relaxing right next to the running creek. The cabin has everything for comfort and it's perfectly clean. Im super picky, but I couldn't find anything that the owner could do to make it better. A gem for couples, singles, or small families. The stairway is steep with small steps, just use caution.

We had a great relaxing time as we listened to the sounds of 4 mile creek singing to us 24 hrs a day. The Russian Olive trees along the bank of the river were in full bloom, and the air was filled with the aroma worthy of some how of being contained and brought home with you. Our dog, Cowboy, was so happy with his new surroundings. Our hosts were gracious and most accommodating. Sunsets were amazing. We will stay again in the future.

Clean, inviting cabin

The cabin was clean and comfortable! Several little touches made us feel welcome and we really enjoyed our mornings on the front porch!

Wonderful cozy cabin with all the extras! Great location, comfy beds and pillows, full kitchen and laundry! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this little paradise! The host was very friendly and thoughtful. Great stay and we will definitely come back!!!

My stay was amazing! Shari was so sweet and welcoming, and the space was warm, comfortable, and in a beautiful location - perfect to be just a few minutes from the center of town, and also with the perfect amount of solitude near the stream, with a gorgeous mountain view.

This is a nice and peaceful cabin by a creek. Beds are comfortable and A/C was nice for the high 90s. They even left a few canon city gifts for us!

Charming Creekside Cabin

We were impressed with the charm of this cabin and the surroundings. We were not able to stay both nights as planned due to a family emergency, but our hosts were very gracious to us. We would definitely return to this vacation rental.

Comfy cabin

Cabin was perfect size, it offered everything we needed. The area was calm and quiet, and the babbling creek made morning coffee so relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, and the cabing was so clean. Definitely an A plus place!

Hands down the best little place to stay in Canon City, CO. Shari & Mike were excellent hosts, anything you need they have! We will be back!
