The cottage was very clean and the beds were comfortable. For a one night stay after a wedding nearby, it served it's purpose.

My best friend and I had the greatest weekend away in this cottage. It was perfect for us. A lot of thought has definitely went into the decor and it's so nice. We loved all the lamps and the fact that all the switches are dimmable. The hot tub was great to soak in. My only suggestion is to bring ear plugs if you're going when the heat is needed as the furnace makes a bit of noise.

Michelle and her property were amazing! Host was very helpful with local suggestions and really reachable. The property is lovely and pictures very accurate. Couldn't have been more pleased with our stay!

Very cute and cozy home with one and a half baths. The neighborhood is more rustic with dirt roads and naturally divided properties. Short drive to downtown Lexington, and the beach is also a short distance.

Place was clean and the hot tub was working, unfortunately we were unable to use due to my wife’s recent surgery. Close to Lexington (3 miles) so we will rent again if needed.

The cottage was in a nice location, but overall, we felt it fell short of expectations for the price. The furniture showed noticeable wear, including a damaged chair and a couch covered with a throw. There were cobwebs inside, and the outdoor area needed attention, with fallen branches, twigs, and debris around the yard and patio. No coffee or coffee pods were provided, which would have been a nice touch. Considering the cost of a one-night stay plus the HIGH cleaning fee, we expected better upkeep and attention to detail.

Great little house to stay in the Lexington area. We had a great time at the private beach and the beach down in Lakeport. Convenient for exploring the thumb area. The property was just as described and worked well for our family of three.

House decor was very cool and the location was great. Could use directions on where beach access is but it may be because we were off season. Host very responsive to questions. Would definitely come back again.

This property was very quaint and peaceful. The beaches and village were lots of fun. Big fan of Wimpy’s!! Michelle was an amazing host and very prompt with answers to questions! We would love to return to Lexington Michigan!

The property was very cute (loved the decor) and perfect for our family. The pictures were accurate, and the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware. The TV had access to all major streaming channels, and the sheets, towels, and bathrooms were clean. That said, the place could use a deeper clean—window sills had bugs, and the outdoor furniture was quite dirty, with one moldy chair that should be replaced. Beach access was nice, but note it’s about a 10-minute walk and requires crossing a major road.

Home Sweet Home for fou rnights

Inside the cottage was clean and fresh. Beautiful tiled shower. Great hair dryer and curling iron. Foaming hand soap needed refills, as well as paper towel. Outside, the hot tub was a definite plus, but the grill needed cleaning from previous tenants with three overcooked hot dogs still inside. Inviting wicker basket swing, except for the mildewed cushion. I would recommend taking it to a laundromat with a larger washer. The cushion should be taken in at night because it is not waterproof.
