The above review was so inaccurate that it was hilarious First we have been renting this property for over 20 years having had hundreds of renters. This is the first and only time we have had any questions about lake water. The woman complained there was no drinking after i had asked her in writing to bring drinking water. We even discussed which water to cook with and I recommended to her that she use potable water to cook with. The complaint about flushing the toilet is simply a lie The pump produces between 30 and 50 PSI at all times which is filtered by a 25 micron filter which makes it fine for showering doing dishes and any other activity where the water is not consumed. Her comment about the dirty cottage is not true as well All linens are washed and clean each week including the duvet covers and mattress pads. The kitchen stove was run on clean cycle and hand wiped down. The fridge was scrubbed with disinfectant and was spotless as was the microwave. (I did this myself) The counters were wiped down with disinfectant ,the rugs were all vacuumed and the floors were vacuumed and then steam cleaned. The window blinds were all cleaned by hand, The BBQ was cleaned (by me) before they arrived. They then left foil on the BBQ which I had to clean up Most importantly we found a 9v battery. it belonged to the smoke alarm which was brand new. THEY PLACED THE WHOLE COTTAGE AND FUTURE RENTERS IN DANGER BY DISCONNECTING THE ALARM! The inaccuracies are monumental!

We were surprised and disappointed when this correspondence arrived in our in basket. The only objective way to describe this correspondence is a rant. The facts are as follows: Of the 19 reviews of the property 18 ratings averaged 4.3 which indicates 94.7% disagree with his assessment In addition, we have loyal non VRBO customers who have been with us for a very long time. and consistently book their stay year after year. Both VRBO and non VRBO customers highlight the beauty of the property, the long lake views, the swimming, fishing, and boating activities, as well as roasting s'mores by the fire pit under the stars Our longest standing customer states "This property is my favorite place on earth"
