The Cottage is situated on the rock on Sparrow Lake and has 240 ft of shoreline and amazing unobstructed panoramic lake views just a few steps from the water! The property is secluded and completely separated by the treeline and waterline. Limitless family-friendly activities and amenities any time of the year, close proximity to town amenities, all within 1.5 hrs from Toronto.

Zuka Lakeview Cottage is offering 2 bedrooms and is available when our full Lakehouse (4 bdrms) is not occupied, so while access to some areas is limited you will have private use of the interior space. It is very unique and tastefully decorated with breathtaking panoramic views of Sparrow Lake all around just a few steps away from the lake.

The bedrooms and the main bathroom with soak-in bathtub are located on the lower level, while our open concept fully equipped kitchen and living room, walking out onto the gorgeous Roof Top Patio are located on the second level. You are guaranteed to be taken away by astonishing view of an open lake, enjoy nature, meet the sunrise or be mesmerized by colourful sunsets, and, later at night, do some serious stargazing. The roof top is complete with propane BBQ, patio set and fireplace table. Get cozy inside by electric fireplace or just spend a whole day playing board games, video games or watch classic movies from our DVD collection. We also have high speed internet for your working or streaming needs. For your convenience, we also provide all the bedding, linens and towels that are thoroughly washed and disinfected.

Zuka Cedar Spa Experience:

Indulge in the ultimate relaxation with our Cedar Spa amenities, individually prepared for every guest. Nestled by a picturesque lake, our wood-fired barrel Hot Tub and Sauna, crafted from Western Red Cedar, await your arrival. This unique experience is available upon request and at an additional charge due to meticulous preparation and maintenance.

Hot Tub:

Immerse yourself in our Cedar Hot Tub, located under a lakeside gazebo. Each hot tub is prepared specifically for you—cleaned and refilled with 3500 liters of pure lake water before your arrival, free of any chemicals. It will be preheated with wood before your arrival, a process that may take up to 24 hours depending on weather conditions. The hot tub comes equipped with bath robes, towels, and required firewood.

Sauna:

Enjoy the serenity of our barrel cedar Sauna with stunning lake views. Each sauna is pre-set and stocked with necessary firewood, fresh pine venik (branches), sauna hats, towels, spa robes, and essential oils.

Please Note:

- Spa amenities will be prepared and pre-heated with wood for your arrival. We will provide instructions on their use and required firewood. You will need to maintain the firewood supply to keep the hot tub and sauna at the desired temperature.

- Our full-day experience spans from early morning until late evening. For single-day bookings, it includes the period from check-in to checkout time.

- The maximum duration for a full stay experience is up to 3 days.

- Payment for all additional amenities is due in cash upon check-in. These amenities must be pre-arranged and are subject to availability.

Enjoy various outdoor activities, such as cross-country skiing or skating on our private rink on the lake (subject to weather) and then warm up by the firepit or our outdoor wood stove. You might also want to explore nearby tobogganing hills and local snowmobile trails accessible right off our driveway. Gather your fishing equipment for some serious ice-fishing just steps away (ice fishing hut and equipment is available for rent).

- Wood Burning Barrel Cedar Sauna– fired and heated by wood, ready in 45 minutes (available at additional price upon request);
- Wood Burning Red Cedar Hot Tub under the gazebo and complete with patio set to cool off and relax- fired and heated by wood, uses no electricity and no chemicals, water refilled with fresh lake water after each guest(s) (available at additional price upon request);
- Outdoor Fireplace with BBQ grid;
- Picnic table and zero gravity chairs.

The guests will have access the entire property, including our amazing Roof-Top patio, SPA complex and our large front yard. NO ACCESS to the Boathouse and another room that will be marked “off limits”, Guests will have private use of SPA complex with wood burning sauna and hot tub. There might be other guests at our Boathouse which is a separate unit with separate entrance at another part of the house, so outdoor space such as backyard may be shared with other guests. The guests are welcome to use kayaks, canoe and peddle boat, subject to season (life jackets are provided).

Off Limits: Boathouse, Furnace Room at the back of the house (red door on the side); sheds; outside utility area on the right side of the house by fence.

And if you like fishing, gather your fishing accessories as this is your lucky time, because Sparrow Lake is also known as one of the richest lakes for fishing, inhabiting fish like Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, Muskellunge, Yellow Perch, and many others species.
