Great location and quiet neighborhood. Backyard and deck were perfect for relaxing after a day of seeing sites.Host was very good with communications.House exactly as advertised.

This was an amazing and beautiful home to stay in. Everything was clean and beautiful. Our host Sonia was so helpful and courteous and kind, and answered every question we had. Everything was perfect and I would recommend staying here to everyone.!!

The house was very functional, clean, comfortable, well located. The kitchen is tight for having more than one person worling.

Thanks for the feedback Robert. While we don’t advertise a large or “chef’s kitchen” we do think it’s perfect and adequate size for most visitors.

Property was perfect for our golf tournament weekend. Comfortably accomodated our foursome with rooms for everyone. Enjoyed BBQs on the nice deck and movies on the big screen TV. Neighborhood was lovely.

We traveled from California to spend Father's Day with oir dad. The home is gorgeous, in a private , quiet area. Beautiful spacious yard and spacious interior. Looking forward to visiting again.

Summer Stay

The house was spacious and comfortable for even a large family. It was very clean and had all the amenities that were in good working condition. Located in a good neighborhood with restaurants and grocery nearby.

From the moment we arrived, this home felt like a peaceful retreat. It was even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Every room was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, making it feel like a true home away from home.The atmosphere was so calm and relaxing that it was easy to leave the stress of everyday life behind. Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee, unwinding in the evenings, or simply taking in the peaceful surroundings, every moment felt restorative! The hosts clearly put a lot of care into every detail, and it truly shows. Everything we needed was provided, and the home was exceptionally clean and well-maintained.If you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge, and enjoy a beautiful getaway, I can’t recommend this vacation home enough. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about when we can come back. It was an unforgettable stay, and I would give it more than five stars if I could.

We had a great experience during our recent weekend stay. The house is indeed comfortable and cozy, showcasing the best of classic Drexel Hill colonial style. Four comfortable bedrooms, three baths, smaller but functional kitchen, large dining room, finished basement, and a wonderful living room with the BEST deep sectional couch. The off street parking in driveway was a godsend due to the recent heavy snowfall - we fit 4-5 cars as local family and friends visited during our stay. Our host, Sonia, was great. Thank you!

We were a group of women over age 70. Overall, our experience was very good. The neighborhood and the house are nice, and Sonia was easy to communicate with. We wanted to point out a few things for other seniors who might consider this property. The house is a typical "colonial" style house built in 1930. The bathrooms are on the second floor and in the basement. The steps are relatively steep, especially those going to the basement. The home is air conditioned with window units. Floors have been updated, but the floor levels from room to room are not the same, creating a possible tripping hazard. In spite of these issues, we enjoyed our time there.

Thanks Joanne for being a great guest. The home as described is a cozy colonial and the charm of it is that it has not been remodeled in a way that loses the character. From room to room there is a “lip” for example from the dining room to the kitchen and when the flooring changes, so I appreciate you pointing that out but want to make sure we don’t mistake it not being “leveled”. All of your feedback is much appreciated.

Excellent spacious yet cozy property! The beds were very comfortable. A huge thank you to the hosts for being so proactive—after it snowed, they had the walkways cleared by early morning , making everything safe and easy for me. I was visiting my family who live in a small one-bedroom apartment about 10 minutes away, the dining table for six was perfect for hosting a family meal. It was a very comfortable and relaxing space to gather and enjoy time together. Much better atmosphere than a noisy restaurant. I am hopeful to return in warmer weather to enjoy dining on the beautiful deck right outside of the kitchen door.

Really lovely home! Everything was clean, comfortable and well-supplied. Appreciated the abundance of towels and the hooks in the bathrooms/closets. Nice patio and yard—wish we could've stayed longer than the weekend to enjoy it even more! Clear and easy communication with Sonia, who was so welcoming and accommodating! Everything was great especially Sonia. The place was very well appointed with everything we needed. It was also very clean inside. The only issue we had was with the outside furniture. It sits under a tree and was covered with bird droppings. No a huge issue for us we found some clean chairs

Nice setting for a long weekend involving going to games at the baseball and soccer stadiums in the Philly area. Best feature, given the beautiful fall-like weather, was the deck patio overlooking the fenced (and shady) back yard. The yard was also a hit with our 2 year old grandson and his dogs. This is an older house in a solid family neighborhood with neat front lawns. Appliances were new, kitchen was well equipped, and window AC units worked fine. Host was very responsive.

Nice home in a quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay outside of the city for a weekend event near Center City. We desired more space and parking than most property in the city has to offer. The home was tidy and offered a lot of sleeping space and multiple bathrooms, it was more than enough for my family to be comfortable. It's located on a quiet street and neighborhood, across from a church and school, which offered a playground and more green space. We would definitely return again for events we need to attend in the Philadelphia area.

Weekend Trip

My family of 4 with 2 small dogs selected this property as it was nearby family we were visiting.The house is located in a nice neighborhood with convenient parking options (on street and private driveway). We appreciated the blend of modern amenities/feel and unique architectural features of an older home. The fenced in yard was especially convenient for our small pets (and probably great for children, as well). We didn't need or discover the finished basement until our last day - there's a lot of space in this home!The house was impeccably clean with nice touches and features. Very comfortable and convenient for our group.Sonia's communication was clear and timely. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the future.

Dad’s Funeral

Needed a rental in Delaware County for the wknd for my Dad’s funeral. We live all over the country now so I thought a rental for the wknd would be a better option than hotel rooms. I’m so glad I made that decision! The house accommodated my family perfectly, 5 adults, 1 infant, 2 dogs, and room to spare. The fenced-in backyard was perfect. It was a nice neighborhood and very conveniently located. There aren’t many rentals available in Delco, I’m so glad we were able to find your place! My family had a very eventful, lovely weekend at your home and it’s a time we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Thank you for accommodating us!

We rented for the weekend while visiting my niece at Swarthmore. Good location- The house was about 15 minutes from the college which was quick and easy. We did dinner in Philly on Friday which was like 25 minutes. Very clean home and well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed our stay.
