Overall we had a very good weekend! There were a few issues but none that really dampened our enjoyment, We did have difficulty finding a suitable spot....we did eventually find one, fortunately, we only used the car once....and upon return found the immediate streets packed. The house was in a good location. We were able to walk (not short, but doable) to many notable location,

House was exactly as expected- clean, parking out front, friendly and helpful host, house was nicely remodeled, convient park for dog walks, surprise playground and swimming pool on other side of park (we went to the playground), very nice to have linens, dish cloth/sponge, towels and wash cloths. We did drive to the liberty bell, Independence Hall, Love sign/rocky steps. If you have kids in a stroller or older kids, the walk is doable. Overall a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay! Jennifer was an amazing host from start to finish. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and went above and beyond by answering all of our questions before we arrived. She also shared fantastic local recommendations for coffee, food, and things to do. The home was exactly as described and in a great location. We especially appreciated how welcoming she was to our Golden Retriever, who enjoyed his first vacation, and she even recommended dog-friendly places for us to visit. We were in town for the Dave Matthews Band shows, and this was the perfect home base. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the Philadelphia area!

Wonderful girls weekend getaway! Wish we had come later in Spring to see the park across the street in bloom. The neighborhood has it all and is a joy to walk around. We always found parking around the block and slept well each night. It is well appointed with comfy beds and has everything you need to enjoy your stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this property and would absolutely come back again. The home was exactly as described with everything we needed. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area.The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made the whole experience even better. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend.

Lovely home in a great location for families. Lots of nearby playgrounds, good places to eat, and free parking nearby wasn’t hard to find.

Home was even cuter in person than what the pictures showed! Walkable to great restaurants, bars, activities and lots of other Phili attractions. Always felt safe while walking to our evenings events. Was able to park our car and leave it the entire weekend.

I would definitely recommend this property for a small group as it is rather tight but the location could not be beat.

This house was VERY disappointing. We arrived at about 6 pm and were unable to find a parking space anywhere close by the house. Ended up walking about four blocks carrying our suitcases with my elderly mom. Upon walking into the house we were immediately disappointed and frustrated. The living room rug looked like it hasn't been vaccuumed in months-mud chunks all over it, clumps of animal hair in places and very stained. Furniture was all stained and looked dirty as well. At the base of the stairs was a pile of dirt/crumbs and a bobby pin. The towels in the bathrooms had LOTS of hair stuck in the fibers of the towels-long hair and pubic hair. Some of the towels didn't even look clean with some yellow and brown clumps of something on them in places and just plain didn't feel clean. The upstairs bathroom sink didn't drain well either. Host told me there was a cleaning closet with supplies we could use to make it feel more comfortable to our locking, but the closet was locked.

Our stay in Philly was wonderful! The home was in a safe, convenient neighborhood, which made exploring the city stress-free. The rooms were exactly what our family needed—spacious, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing stay. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and we felt right at home. Highly recommend for families visiting Philly!

We stayed for a girls weekend to experience Philly. Everything' we wanted to do or see was right around the corner. Definately would stay again.

Great stay in Philly

The home is great! We had all the amenities we needed in a clean house. Great location on a quiet park-facing street, and close to all of the Philadelphia sites.

A group of six very mature women stayed here for 5 nights/4 days and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This is my first time ever booking a VRBO, so I didn't know what to expect.The house looks just like the pictures. It was very clean, offers everything you would find in your own kitchen and includes access to Netflix and other streaming services. You just need to sign into your own account.The host is very communicative, responsive and nice.Some observations:The streets in Philly are TIGHT, so I recommend if you get a rental car, don't get a minivan like we did. The smaller the car, the better for parking. While there is plenty parking, it usually wasn't available on the street the house is on, so we ended up having to park and walk a block or two.Be prepared for a leg workout because this is a three-level house with two levels of stairs. Also, there is no bathroom on the first floor.The neighborhood felt very safe and is usually quiet. They were repaving the streets while we were there, so there was loud construction work happening during the day.Overall this was a great first VRBO experience. If you decide to stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Great place!

Great place to stay! Great location and wonderful house! I have two notes for future guests: (1) steps to the second & third floor are steep. If you have problems climbing stairs, be forewarned. (2) Parking can be a challenge in the neighborhood.

Decent stay.NOTE: There is free STREET parking, however there is no dedicated parking spot. I felt that should have been annotated on the property details given that I specially book homes with dedicated parking to avoid the inconvenience of finding parking with a young child. There is no washer/dryer so this is not a “home away from home” type of place, however the location is close to many restaurants off Washington Ave & its surrounding area.The home is clean & close to the park. However parking is a huge factor for me & I had trouble finding parking during my entire stay (4 nights).
