A lovely property with a stunning view! The house is well appointed and the hosts have thought of everything! It is in a central location, quiet, and easy to get to down town Monterey and Carmel. The hosts are very attentive and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our time staying here.

Stunning property! Pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s feels incredibly private, quiet and peaceful. Fantastic place to relax. My husband and I slept like babies, which doesn’t usually happen when we travel. Will absolutely be coming back here again soon!

Excellent Home

The house was exactly as described. Very quiet area only 10 minutes from the town of Carmel. Well stocked and easy to check in. Comfortable bed and pillows. We loved our time there.

What a wonderful place to call home for 3 nights! Everything was exactly as advertised - a plethora of amenities and a tranquil view that was wonderful in morning, lunch and evening. Angela was so communicative up to the stay, throughout and even after. Thank you for such a wonderful and relaxing experience.

This was a perfect escape. The minute you walk thru the cottage gate you are transported to a place of serenity and solitude. The garden patio area is divine. We enjoyed sitting out looking over the evergreen canyon while watching an array of birds flutter through. Anna’s hummingbirds, Acorn woodpeckers, Pacific wrens, California scrub jays, Stellar’s jays, and barn swallows were daily visitors. Sitting out at night was equally spectacular. Sitting by the fire pit stargazing while being serenaded by a great horned owl. It was truly magical. It’s hard to grasp how close you are to town when you see black tailed deer and California quail on your drive on the street to the house. Everything inside of the house is neatly arranged and clean. The kitchen is very well stocked with most everything you need to make meals. The furniture is comfortable and everything is in working order. The view from the kitchen/living space is stunning and having floor to ceiling wall to wall glass sliders truly opens up the space. This house is quiet, charming and perfect for anyone wanting an escape.

This is the perfect VRBO property to explore Carmel. House was just lovely and very well appointed. We loved hanging out there relaxing.The location is sublime- looking out at the treetops, watching birds, comfy beds, fantastic kitchen and 10 minutes to downtown Carmel.Loved the design and palette- very well done.Host was welcoming and precise- we will stay here again when we return to the area.Just a perfect place to unwind after golf and shopping and walks and restaurants.Thank you for a great vacation spot!!Well done.

This home was a true gem. The views of the tree line were absolutely breathtaking — floor-to-ceiling windows let nature do all the work, and the effect was stunning. The house itself was spotless, and the minimalist, clean decor gave the whole space a calm, elevated feel without trying too hard.It made for a wonderful, restorative stay in the Carmel/Monterey area. We’d stay again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature.
