The house and location are beautiful. The host was responsive and very accomodating. We would return to this property for sure.

Beautiful, Private, Perfect for extended families

Little Baron is a great in law suite! Pool is huge. Beautiful property!

North side is worth it

Location is perfect for families, close proximity to many attractions outside of 7 mile beach. Property is well maintained and property management was very responsive to minor problems.

We had great time however, It was not clear in the description of the property that beach is across the road. Also we noticed there is a leak of rain water in the roof of the entrance of the master bed room. We were not told that snorkeling gear are available even we asked about it.

The property as we rented it consists of two buildings, Rum a three bedroom spacious house with large pool, and Little Barron, a small stand alone 'house' consisting of a big bedroom and a mini kitchen. Rum is spectacular, set back from the road its totally private, beautifully appointed and the pool w adjacent hottub. is great. Little Barron is on the other side of the road. We could hear road noise at times, but it is up close to the ocean, with wonderful views of the water from the beach lounge chairs in back ( it really is not a swimming beack area, however). We found Little Barron to be only minimally well appointed ( but adequately) in regard to the kitchen space, maybe based on a reasonable assumption that food/ cooking activites would focus on the big house. I'd give 5 stars to Rum, 3 stars to Little Barron if that was an option. General location on this coast of Grand Cayman was excellent for our family group, it's a distance from 7 mile beach, but with lots of places to go, things to do away from the more crowded portions of the island.

The house is nice, but things could have been better. A big factor in renting it was a hot tub and heated pool... that wasn't heated at all. I know the owner tried to fix it, but no luck. Communication could been better too. Yard maintenance came out after lunch with gear to work on the yard, but then hung around until after 4:00. That was weird... we had no idea they were coming.The toaster in the wash area sets off the smoke detector. Not a big deal, but sure surprised us. The little unit by the ocean is in the pictures but not included in the rental?Its a nice place but wasn't managed well as other places we have stayed at. Hence the "ok" rating.

Thank you for your review. Apologies that the hot tub it didn't work during your stay. Thank you for letting us know about the toaster. We will put a new one. Apologies about the gardener. Little Barron is part of your rental. The keys for Rum Barron and little Barron are in the lockbox.
