Vintage, homey, very clean and well stocked! Beds were very comfortable. Great location to numerous points of interest in a the area!

This place was incredibly cozy and welcoming—it felt just like staying at Grandma and Grandpa’s house! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable, and both the front and back porches were wonderful places to relax. Check-in was quick and easy, and the home truly had everything we could have wanted. We would definitely stay here again!

Was a girls weekend!Had a great time except for the rain. Couldn't help but we made the best of it. The place came with everything you would need for a great time.

Amazing location

Check in was extremely easy, kitchen was fully functional with everything a person would need.

The guys had a blast.
Delicious breakfast every morning at Minnie’s just down the road.

The property and house was just right for our stay. Our adult kids are planning our trip for next year. Kitchen had all of the supplies to cook. Everything was very clean.The host was very helpful.

Host was super responsive and just a delight to work with! The property is really cute, right on the water with a big yard, gorgeous flowers, and the home is comfy and the perfect little getaway. Food in the area closes early but otherwise the adjacent towns are really nice. Would absolutely recommend and would visit again!

Stay was OK Smell from the Well was a bit much. Plug in were used to mask the smell. Grass cutting was just done. Grass was high and tracking indoors alot. inside was clean and ready for us. Mouse issue in the kitchen.

Chris I apologize about your issues. If you would have let me know. I could have tried to resolve your issues while you were there. I talked to the water company since it is city water and they told me the chlorine was increased due to season change. As far as the grass we have had a considerable amount of rain and mowed the grass when it dried. With fall coming on mice will try to come in the house but we have not found any indication. I will have mouse traps set out. I am sorry once again.

Home Away from Home

This place was perfect for our family. The view from the back porch was beautiful and relaxing. We all enjoyed spending time fishing and playing in the river. It was central to our activities we had planned for our stay.

Meemaw & Paw Paws Place

We were in town for a long weekend. Found the property very accessible and inviting. The house was quite comfortable inside, but the outside views and natural beauty were even more inviting. Relaxing on the front porch swing and enjoying the river view from the back porch was a true highlight of our visit. River accessibility was a definite plus. Would definitely stay here again.

This home was a blessing to us as we visited family in the area. The interior was spotless, but the porches could have used some attention. Pay attention to the host instructions accessing the drive from the highway. My son tried to make the hairpin turn and found he had to backup on the highway to do it. Not a good spot to be in. It was also difficult exiting the drive as your vision of traffic is limited due to the steepness of the driveway. Breakfast is always important to our family. All 8 of us met at the home and I cooked a large farm style meal. Everything needed was at hand. I especially appreciated the little things like salt and pepper, spices, paper towels, sugar for the coffee, even baggies for the leftover biscuits. We all enjoyed the back porch and appreciated the Off we saw on the shelf. The canoe access to the river allowed us to relive memories from many years ago. This was so much better than staying in a hotel room. We will be back.

Interior was perfect for visit with family, including very young kids. Clean and spacious. there was every appliance and utensil that could be used.the exterior needed paint and TLC.One of the showers dripped and needed attention
