The lake view and amenities were excellent. We appreciated the pet friendly location and close proximity to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes.

We enjoyed our stay at Cabin 3. It was close to the sauna, hot tub and dock. We rented the pontoon boat for a day and had a blast on the lake. The lake was very quiet...almost too quiet for our little ones. We would recommend this place for anyone who asks.

Anmazing lakeside setting with cozy, comfortable, clean, and well-stocked cabins. The hot tub is a genuine delight, just a few steps down to the sandy beach. Excellent communication before AND during our 5 day stay. Well-maintained pontoon boats, perfect for a family day out on this beautiful string of five lakes. Easy to pull in and out of the dock.Fantastic outdoorsy setting for a relaxing getaway while easy drives to the amenities of Traverse City and the surrounding towns. Especially enjoyed the string of wineries along the peninsula. Go explore then come back home to your cozy cabin and bonfire :)

The lakefront location makes for a great view. I wish we could've stayed longer!

We did not get what we saw in pics of reservation. They did change our cabin however rooms were tiny. There was no lighting outside. The parking was in rough terrain with multiple trip hazards. We were charged a cleaning fee when reservation was made but still had to do the dishes and take out the garbage.

Very clean and great view of the lake!!

This was a brief stay in mid-March, however, this was a very nice place and would be great in the warmer months. It has a great view of the lake and would be a wonderful place for an extended stay.

Not for elderly people. Rocky, no hand rails, steep steps. Hot tub sandy and warm, not hot. Sauna had one hour timer had to keep turning it on. Stairs to lake beach very steep. No hand rail. Cabin needed updated kitchen . One pan. Stove falling apart. Shower smells like mold. And floor sandy.

Lake refuge

We loved the view of the lake and the use of pontoon rental. Our first day was quite chilly , but we managed to get the heating unit up and running. Was just the right size for the two of us to relax. The location was tricky to find at first but make sure to follow map instructions for main as there is no street sign and is for sure a steep hill right down to the water.Would like to suggest steps to get onto the deck as this is a climp up if you are short.We would like to rent a few cottages in the future for family trip next time.
