This property offers the best of lake living. Whether relaxing in the living room, having breakfast in the dining area, or enjoying coffee on the deck, you'll appreciate beautiful and peaceful views of the water and nature. Horseshoe Lake, located 10 minutes from downtown Ann Arbor, is a private 85-acre all-sports lake teeming with wildlife and excellent fishing opportunities. If you're lucky, you might even see deer coming to the water's edge across the lake for a drink. The lake hosts various fish species, making it a great spot for fishing.
Additionally, we have resident blue herons and swans, and you might even catch sight of an eagle. With three kayaks and a paddleboard included with the rental, you have the chance to experience the lake up close. This stunning property is conveniently situated near the US-23 expressway to Ann Arbor and Brighton, and it’s just minutes from the Big House.

We are natives of Michigan and have enjoyed building a lakehouse. This is our personal residence. We are blessed to have another house 13 minutes away, where we started building our small farm. We have been spending less time at the lakehouse and decided to open it up for others to enjoy as much as we have.

We were fortunate to get the location we chose on Horseshoe Lake. The view is amazing from the living room or the back deck. The opposite side of the lake is undeveloped and scenic. The house sits on the tip of the peninsula.
