Wonderful host: She goes over and above
Fabulous space in a gorgeous location, just across the lane from the lake. We stayed weekdays, when it was quiet and lovely. The house was comfy and accommodating for us 4 older women. Be sure to be mindful of the steps in the master bed and bath. We spent most of the time on the back porch enjoying the cool, cloudy days. Walking the road by the lake was a treat. And having a fenced back yard for the dog was most helpful. Hot tub was lovely under the open sky. Lots of towels provided. The jets were tricky to figure out and difficult to turn off and the top incredibly heavy. Needs a lifter. The rains brought water drainage issues, which the host was aware of. We found workarounds, but be mindful of the weather.We asked her about the lack of hangers in the closets and the firewood situation for the fire pit out back. We really wanted the whole s’mores experience with our foreign visitors. Our host not only dropped off a sack of hangers, but also all the ingredients for s’mores. Talk about going over and above!I left my shoes there, which the host promptly mailed to me, with a lovely thank you note thanking us and inviting us back when we’re in the area. Great experience. Highly recommend.
