If you like fishing this is the spot for you. Something comfortable and small without paying a fortune. I will say I love the fact that fishing is 24 hours. How could I forget about the sweet young lady that help me check in. She could make anyone smile and most of all customer service was amazing.

Great overnight stay for a reasonable price. When we got there, we had a little issue bc our room was not ready. Other than that, everything else was great. We were compensated with a meal at the Quack Shack, which was amazingly good. The ducks were so awesome, and I recommend bringing bread to feed them. The state park isn’t too far away, and lots of deer can be seen there! Great stay overall.

Very clean and super easy check in

Loved it for a night a couple hours away from home while attending a wedding. The property is rustic, but whoever runs it is super accommodating and kind! Would definitely stay again if in the area!

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, Cabin #2 near Lake Tawakoni is a fantastic choice. The location is hard to beat—being right on the water makes it easy to relax and leave the stress of everyday life behind.One of my favorite parts was being able to fish right off the pier whenever I wanted. Having the Quack Shack restaurant located right on the pier was another nice bonus. The food was good, and it was incredibly convenient to grab a meal without having to leave the property.The evenings were especially enjoyable. I'd sit outside with a beverage, take in the quiet lake views.Cabin #2 is the perfect size for a couple. It's cozy, comfortable, and has everything you need for a relaxing lakeside retreat. If you're looking for a quiet escape with beautiful waterfront views, fishing, convenient dining, and a peaceful atmosphere, I would definitely recommend staying here.

The host was wonderful and went out of her way to help us when we were arriving late. The place was clean, which is my #1 priority. It was exactly as the pictures showed.

Staff was wonderful. Property was great. The only thing I’d recommend is actual blinds on door and bathroom window. But other than that, it was perfect!

Nice quaint place. Marina staff nice and polite. Good food. Cabin was comfortable. Good Christian atmosphere.

100% old-school Texas fishing camp! Loved this spot. Right on the water, ducks everywhere, can't get any more O.G. than this. I kept expecting to see my grandfather come around the corner with a stringer of bass in hand. Super friendly staff. There is a cafe on-site for fried foods, but be advised to bring any other goods you may need from town. It is a bit of a haul back to shop for forgotten items.

The host and staff were very friendly as well as pet friendly. I enjoyed watching the ducks. The food at the Quack Shack is delicious. This is definitely a great place for boating and fishing and there's a state park beach for swimming only 15 minutes away. The only slight issue I had was the smell of the RV sewage from the RV parked next to the cabin. It wasn't constant but at certain times of the day it was pretty strong. Cabin 2 is the only one with an RV spot right next to it.

The hostess is absolutely precious and so very kind and accommodating. You couldn’t ask for better!This precious little cabin is exactly as advertised and, actually, nicer than I expected. The ducks alone are worth the trip- hardest I’ve laughed in a long time! Bring bread and make sure your shorts are tied on tight!The only real issue I wasn’t expecting was how close the cabin is to the highway. Traffic noise is real starting about 5am. I never got hot water in the shower, but I might have been doing something wrong. Idk. This is definitely a basic accommodation- no cups/glasses, no place to hang clothes or lay out toiletries. But it’s a real treat if you’re in to fishing!
