My family and I recently stayed here for a few days and couldn't have been happier. For the value it's an A. It's simple, clean, and in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of Tokyo. It was a great way for my family to see how people lived away from the Western hotels. It's location was really convenient as it was a short walk to the local train station to catch a train on the Yamanote line. The Yamanote line circles Tokyo and you can reach all of the main tourist areas. Our host, Maki, was great and provided great information prior to our trip. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for something simple, convenient, and budget friendly.

Absolutely the best communication and arrival instructions. The property is in a very central location close to the train and gives a smaller community feel. We had a great time and appreciate the host for providing a great space!

Amazing location! Easy access to train station, small shops and convenience store 1 minute away. The accommodations were quiet, clean and cozy. Shower was awesome, air conditioned and our host was soooo accommodating and extra helpful.

Cute stay with amazing locale

Small, but clean, with a very short walk to the yamanote line. The nearby parks don't dissappint!

Great accommodation

Wonderful communications with Maki. This was a great base for us during our 6 days in Tokyo. Really close to a station, all amenities close by, and nice and quiet in the evening. We would definitely stay again.

Very cozy and spacious place

Very nice stay, quiet and clean. Excelent amenities and clear and timely response from management (Makisan). Would definetly stay again.

The Apartment was in a quiet, but convenient neighborhood in the northern part of town along the Yamanote line, which is the main train line circling Tokyo. There were convenience stores, supermarkets, drug stores and restaurants located within a few hundred yards of the apartment which made staying there very convenient, especially with kids. The unit has air conditioning and a washer machine with lots of laundromats for drying clothes very easy (100yen/10 minutes). Our host, Maki, was very accommodating and the booklet of instructions was very informative of not only the unit, but what was around the unit in terms of activities, a shopping street and more. Our host also helped by providing detailed instructions in Japanese to provide our taxi driver. Although, if you are arriving without too much luggage, complete directions from the train station with pictures were provided and completely doable. In all, a very nice place, a terrific host and a pleasant neighborhood.

Cozy feel w all amenities in a great location

Greatly enjoyed our time in Tokyo. Easy walking to a station on the Yamanote line made navigating the city easy. The apt was well furnished w a delightful balcony. We would be happy to stay here again.

Best Location!

The place was one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. Aside from being very close to the station there were lots of shops all around. The neighborhood was also such a great place to explore and the park was just walking distance from the apartment.

Lovely stay

Maki was an excellent host, very available to answer questions and helpful. His apartment is simple and small, but had everything we needed for our one week stay in Tokyo. The apartment is a 3 min walk from the grocery store and about a 5 min walk from the train station, making access to all of Tokyo very easy. The japanese gardens nearby were also a lovely stroll, with a tea house to enjoy some matcha and sweets! We would definitely stay here again.

Authentic Tokyo experience

Perfect location for exploring Tokyo with easy access to JR Yamanote line but in a quieter neighbourhood with lots of character and convenience. The apartment felt typical for Tokyo. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Tired unit in the tired building. Elevator had strong smell and it seems that someone threw up. In the process of changing the flooring. No beds. We slept on the floor. Hard to get up for my age. Broken chair. Owner immediately responded to remove the chair.

Wonderful Stay!

Maki is an outstanding host- very communicative and replied to my questions within minutes. The apartment was just as described- perfect for our small group. We loved that there was a washer and balcony with a line to dry our clothes. We really enjoyed the neighborhood! Lots of restaurants and a grocery store around the corner. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!

The apartment was clean and cozy and perfect for our needs! The area was wonderful, too, and the apartment was really close to the train station which was super convenient! Maki was also really sweet and communicative and answered any questions we had and provided a bunch of information about things we could do or see! I highly recommend this property and would stay again myself!

Quiet and easy access

For a first time in Japan this location was great. With easy access to the JY line it helped us make the most of our few days in Tokyo. The neighbourhood is peaceful. The apartment was very clean and the host very helpful.

We enjoyed four weeks stay here.Close to train station and easy to go many attractive places in Tokyo.Also many local restaurants. Tantanmen Hosizora is my favorite noodle restaurant.The room is clean and provided everything we need.Kana-san is very responsible, we asked some extra supplies, then she delivered them next day.We really recommend this place.
