The sun rises and sets on Summerhouse 501. Panoramic views so stunning you will feel like you are on the open seas from the comfort of land! Bright comfortable top floor end unit with the balcony and living area overlooking the ocean and the beach. Some of the best views anywhere on Isle of Palms. Nearly a penthouse layout with every window having a great open view!

Fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops. Recently remodeled with new tile floors throughout, new paint, updated doors and hardware. New furniture and televisions in all three bedrooms. New washer/dryer and HVAC system. 70" HDTV with Bluray DVD in living room, and cable TV/Blu ray in all bedrooms. Remote controlled fans in every room with high speed internet throughout the unit.

Master bedroom boasts a king sized bed, TV, private full bath and private access to the balcony. The two guest rooms offer a queen sized bed and two full beds and each room has their own bath. Queen bedroom also has separate beach balcony. Full access to the community pool. Linen included. NO SMOKING. NO PETS. **Motor homes, trailers, boats, golf carts, and motorcycles are not allowed within the gates of Wild Dunes**

Rentals are stocked with small ‘starter packs’ that include: toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, dishwashing soap, and dishwasher detergent.

Whilst this unit is in the building which is not having work done, however, during the day it will be extremely noisy. ***

Enjoyed our stay at Summerhouse

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo has a beautiful view of the ocean. The inside is spacious with a bathroom for each bedroom and a HUGE tv in the main room. We’re football fans and enjoyed watching the games. The hotel down the street has lots of shopping and restaurants. We didn’t realize this until our last day. It’s like a whole little city, definitely check it out! Would stay here again!

Incredible ocean views from windows and balcony

If you wake up early, you can see the sun rise from the balcony. In fact, you can lounge in bed and see the sunrise from one of the three sliding glass doors. The bedroom with 2 beds does not have a door to the balcony, which makes it good for kids because you probably don't want small kids to be able to go on the balcony without your knowledge.Another great feature is that there are two clean restrooms off the Summer House pool. So if you are enjoying a beach day, you can use the restroom without going back to your condo. You are given a code to the pool gate.Check in with Island Realty is easy as it is in a convenient location you pass when driving into Wild Dunes. Moving into the condo is also easy as there are luggage carts by the elevator.The condo itself is tastefully decorated with comfortable seating in the living room. We appreciated the leather seating as it is comfortable and cleaner than cloth seating. The beds were comfortable and the sheets and towels were high quality.The kitchen is large and there is plenty of room for a couple of people to cook. While we were on vacation, we enjoyed breakfast at Acme Cantina; don't leave without trying their shrimp and grits! The SC Aquarium in Charleston was just wonderful.

Overall Pleasant Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Easy check-in, easy keypad entry, wi-fi worked great. The condo was very well appointed and clean. The highlight was the spectacular view from the balcony. The kitchen dishware, glasses, utensils and cooking pots and pans were clean as well as the refrigerator. Everything worked - no malfunctions. Move-in was a bit challenging - the custodian had to get us a cart from the other unit and it was wobbly and unstable. I have never experienced a comfortable bed in any of the condos we have rented from Island Realty over the years, including this one. Access to the beach and to the swimming pool is great. Despite our stay being over the Labor Day weekend, the beaches were not crowded and were beautiful. Summerhouse overall is pleasant and we would stay there again.

Very clean and updated. Had everything that you might need. Our original reservations were for May but had to be rescheduled due to the virus. We were very impressed with all of the Covid19 precautions that were being followed everywhere in SC and especially everyone on the island and in Charleston. For the first time in months we felt comfortable getting out and about. We have already reserved the same unit for April 2021 to come back for a concert.

The housekeeping staff did dust or clean well, so we cleaned the place on our own. The condo owner had just finished redecorating but shoved all old artwork in the bedroom closets so we had no room to place our clothes or luggage. This should have been addressed before the condo was rented.

Wild Dunes beach holiday

The condo was spacious, clean, and well-furnished, with a long balcony and lots of lnatural light. The area is quiet and well maintained. Access to restaurants and shopping is an easy 15 minute drive.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, our experience was positive. The unit was well designed with outstanding views of the beach and ocean. The only negative comment was that it was not particularly clean. The whole unit needs a thorough cleaning. Baseboards were dirty, closets were filled with old pictures/screens, etc. The laundry room was filthy as well as the bathmat in the master bath. The first thing my wife did was to wash the bathmat!
