Great spot. Fishing was awesome. We didn't swim, too rocky. Canoed the lake a few times. We also took boats with us. Cottage was great. No issues.

Very impressed. Owner (Keith) is very responsive and easy to talk too. Its a nicely tucked away corner cottage, very clean, very well stocked . Would come back 110%

Lovely, comfortable and in a great area. We enjoyed our time immensely! Weather was less than stellar but the cottage and amenities made it enjoyable nonetheless. Small dock but we set out in the canoe a few times and enjoyed the lake. Windows open in the main bedroom has you listening to the wind in the trees and some flowing water from a small dam at the base of the property lake front. Lovely

The renovation was lovely and the view of the lake was great! There was a few minor problems; We had to bring our own water, the garbage disposal address was wrong, we were missing a paddle and the fan in the master bedroom didn’t work due to needing a specialized battery. We needed to paddle out quite far to swim.

Great cottage, newly renovated and clean. Good access to water which allowed us to use canoe and paddle board. Close to Bancroft for any supplies or groceries.

Great stay!!! Keiths communication and support was exceptional. Cottage was comfortable and met all our needs. Great master bedroom with awesome views, great kitchen and bathroom. Would definitely stay again!

Great west facing cottage on quiet part of the lake. Kitchen is a good size with space to prep. Couches and beds are comfortable with a lake view from the master. Wish you could swim right off the dock.

Great House in the Wilds of Bancroft Ontario in Canada. Directly on the lake and in the woods. Very quiet, great and good for rest outside of the citys

A beautiful picturesque cottage in a very quiet and peaceful area. Everything worked well, and was clean in every aspect. We didn't canoe at all as we're not really on-the-water people, but we enjoy relaxing by it...nearby Bancroft had everything we needed as well. Had a nice relaxing time.

Had a lovely stay. Wetland adjacent to the lake was spectacular. Quiet lake, just what we were looking for. Enjoyed canoeing and paddle boarding and just sitting out on the waterfront deck. Cottage was clean and had all the amenities you would need. Very comfortable. Great communication with the owner, Keith. We will be back!

Keith’s cottage is exactly what this tree hugger was looking for. Private, quiet, surrounded by trees and extremely clean. The cottage is bright and open with all the comforts of home. The bedroom is perfectly placed to wake up looking at the trees. The lake is clean and lovely, with a slightly rocky shoreline that can be navigated to walk into the water from the shore or hop off the dock for a swim. Not great for anyone balance challenged and water shoes are recommended but perfectly doable for us. The cottage is literally at the end of the lake which feeds into a creek so the bird life, bull frogs and pretty dragon flies are amazing. We appreciated the canoe and paddle board and there are plenty of life jackets. Keith is responsive, helpful and friendly and we can’t wait to go back again to this cottage paradise asap!

Beautiful fall getaway

I stayed here with my family over the long weekend for a short fall getaway and we couldnt be more pleased! The listing was exactly as described. Very clean and peaceful. Close to Bancroft for anything you could need. Communication with host was quick and easy. Highly recommend!!

A lovely mix of a rustic and contemporary cottage on a quiet lake. The cottage is clean and has all the necessary amenities. The master bedroom has a lake and woods view which is a dream to wake up to. The owner Keith was very responsive with communication. We would book again.

Fantastic

Stayed for a short weekend. Every aspect of the cottage is perfect. From the gorgeous rustic exterior to the modern renovated interior (with Starlink WiFi), even the teenagers had fun. Nice quiet bay to relax during the day. Fishing was a success! Highly recommend. Keith was a super host who was more than accommodating and generous. Can't wait to come back!

Excellent views of the water from both above and near the water's edge. We very much enjoyed being able to take the canoe out, or simply sit and look at the water. The patio area is lovely, but there is a bit of a drop off leading from inside to outside.The cottage does not have potable water, and the water coolers were empty when we arrived. We recommend bringing some potable water, and extra hand soap as well.

A terrifying experience

3 night trip in this hazardous zone, Power outage since second day, then over 48 hours, No power, No network, No water, power generator not work.Room condition are pet hair all over the floor, lack of kitchen utensils, tableware, lack of bathroom towels, bedsheet with smell.such kind of trip, guests only got 18% refund

I’m sorry you had a bad experience. This is a remote location and sometimes the power goes out. It’s a beautiful spot in nature but isn’t for everyone.

This cottage was a wonderful getaway for my 15-year old grandson and myself. Our pet pug also enjoyed the experience, and she learned to be a passenger on the paddle board. The paddle board was fun, and we also enjoyed getting out in the canoe. View of the lake lovely. Peaceful and private. The beds were comfortable. The master bedroom was delightful with surrounding views of trees. Kitchen well equipped. Everything very clean. Quick response from the host. The only downside would be the shore for swimming — rocky beach, and very weedy once you got away from the shore. Ok for teens/adults to swim, but not the best for little children. A plus that it is pet friendly!

Eine tolle Unterkunft, direkt am See. Mit dem zur Verfügung gestellten Kanu und Stand-up Paddel kann man den See erkunden. Die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet.
