The views live up to the hype. I was a wedding guest and stayed with some family here and didn’t want to leave the peaceful porch. Can’t wait to be back and bring a paddleboard to play on the water.

A delightfully comfortable place to unwind with beautiful sunsets and amenities galore! Host was responsive to questions about kayaking and finding best seafood. Kitchen is well equipped, condo is spacious and clean, and covered parking is a breeze. Spent most of our time on the shaded screened porch when not at the beach or on the water.Plenty of comfortable rocking chairs!

The property was perfect for our weekend beach vacation. Very clean and comfortable. Easy communication with the host. We prepared basic food with no problem and had plenty of ice from the freezer to fill our cooler. Parking under the carport was a plus. We loved sitting on the porch and watching the sunset. Great location and nice home.

The place was spacious and the porch was lovely. Well supplied. Did not like the linen situation and the fact that I had to make the bed, then undo and launder the sheets and towels and place them back. I had made the reservation and was embarrassed with this work we were required to do because I was traveling with friends. Some of the sheets and pillows were stained. There was residue on the counter under the coffee maker and the air fryer was not cleaned. Otherwise it met our needs and the view was splendid.

Great location and great views! Plenty of parking. Lots of seating both inside and out. Lots of sleeping room with three bedrooms as well. Sheets must be washed and dried before departure and the washer and dryer do take a long time even with not filling the load so bring your own or make sure you leave a lot of time to do laundry. This was our second time staying here and we definitely enjoyed it!

We've stayed at La Marsh Inn on several trips to Edisto Beach off and on for going on eight years now. Check in was easy, house was clean and ready for guests like always. Linens are supplied which is helpful. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils, cookware, flatware and tableware but I always bring paper plates and cups because who wants to wash dishes on vacation? We had a problem with the water after a beach wide power outage one evening but the host was super responsive and friendly despite the lateness of the hour and let us know what the town was reporting. Host is also very receptive to feedback about the things we noticed needed some attention but those things never detracted from our stay. Super easy walk to the beach and excellent marsh sunset views from the screened porch. Great parking available on the property. We will be back again!

The sunsets off the back porch were truly spectacular and watching the storms blow across the marsh grasses was so pretty. The house is in need of repairs: Upoer seems on screen porch is detached, kitchen cabinet door came off, microwave door handle is broken, one of the gas burners doesn’t work well, filter on refrigerator needs changing, very squeaky floors in master bedroom, toilet seat not secure, front doors are hard to close fully. We had a great time with our family. I would recommend this house, but I would hope that the repairs would be addressed.

We had communicated about some of the repairs during your stay, but we were not made aware of all of the issues you mentioned, but we will work on getting these maintenance needs met. Everything was provided. Odd situation with having was bed linens after stay. Adjust price to be included. Perfect deck to watch sunsets. Kitchen well stocked with needed appliances and utensils.

This is a nicely situated duplex in Edisto Beach. We enjoyed staying here and only wished the mattresses and furniture were more comfortable. The chairs weren't very "easy," and the mattresses were old. Maybe it's our age, but the older we get, the more important the comfort of the sitting and lying down get to be.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the location and your stay at Edisto Beach. We recently replaced one of the mattresses, use toppers for added comfort, and several of the chairs are only a few years old. Comfort can be very personal, but we appreciate your input and will keep it in mind as we continue making updates.

Overall pleasant experience with nice setup and reasonable price. Only complaint was the odor(s) in living area and master bed were a bit off-putting.

I wish you had let us know! The next renter let us know and we found out the gas was low and giving off a smell When that happens.
