Our game room is a nexus for fun and excitement. Challenge friends to a match on the ping pong table, or dive into epic adventures on our 4x6 folding gaming table, perfect for board games, Warhammer, or D&D. For the nostalgic gamer, our arcade cabinet boasts over 7000 games, providing endless entertainment for all ages.

You should know: 1) We have two exterior cameras. One is pointed at the driveway and the other at the overflow parking area. 2) The air conditioner is portable and does not cool the entire home.

Perfect coast getaway

Fantastic few days with our puppies at the beach!

We LOVED the very dog welcoming house— from the food bowls to the dog-gelato— and for the humans THE COOKWARE ROCKED! Nice pans, sharp knives, stocked spice cabinet—extraordinary in our experience renting at the coast. Teens enjoyed the ping pong table, proximity to the beach and s’mores at the fire pit. Great spot— we look forward to our next visit!

Surfing Adventure

Group of 4 life-long friends enjoyed this great property on one of the sunniest 4 days at the coast. Our dachshunds truly loved exploring the backyard. The doggie treats and thoughtful ways our pups were welcomed was delightful. We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen as we cooked dinner each night. We were able to have time together, surfing lessons and easy access to the beach close by to let pups run. Thank you for a lovely visit.

Everyone loved it!

This place has so much going for it; a short walk to a quiet beach, a short drive to Pacific City, a large hot tub, a ping pong table, an arcade machine, a ton of "analog" games, and all the kitchen appliances you could hope for (and more). The yard is huge - plenty of room for corn hole, ladder ball, etc. It is by far the most complete and well thought out home we have stayed in, and the dogs thought so too!

Great house, great location and perfect for furry family too

House is beautiful, game room with amazing old video games and ping pong when weather wasn't optimal. Hot tub on a chilly starlit night with sound of the ocean. Fenced yard, ramps for my tiny dogs made their stay safe and new smells galore.I have already booked again for the fall.

Puppy Paradise

We came back for a second visit and loved it just as much. We brought a friend and his two puppies. The dogs had the time of their lives and we had a wonderful time. Beds are so comfortable and kitchen has just about everything a person could need or want. We will definitely return. Thank you for sharing your adorable home with us.

Atmospheric River

We had a great experience at this location! The location was clean and welcoming and we loved all the extra dog features to help us feel more at home. Despite the extreme weather conditions (the atmospheric river) we had a great time. We are already planning our next vacation to this rental.

Perfect Dog-Friendly Get Away

We had a lovely time at the Paws under the pines. The house was in a great location- quick drive to Pacific City and a very quick walk to the beach. The fenced in yard is so great for peace of mind with pups. The house was clean, beds were very comfortable and we loved that there was a fully stocked *everything.* Thank you for hosting us!

Great stay by the beach for family

The place felt like home away from home, well stocked with kitchen items, entertainment, and office space. Close walk to the beach across the street. Big hot tub that could fit 4 adults comfortably.

Beach Weekend Fun

We had a great time here. We wanted to get away for the weekend with the dogs and kid. This was the perfect location and accommodation! Big house, dog and kid friendly. We loved the ping pong table and board games. Was a quick walk across the street to the beach.

Great place to chill at coast

Great spot in Tierra Del Mar - perfect house with anything you’d need to cook or relax, super clean close to beautiful beach to walk for miles. I highly recommend this place you won’t be sorry!

Thanksgiving at the beach

We needed a place that took care of our dogs needs and a kitchen we could cook in. This home gave us both. The dogs had a large fenced in yard and just a short walking distance away from the most beautiful beach. The kitchen is a true gourmet kitchen. Loved it

Getaway with girlfriends and dogs

Paws under the Pines was the perfect cozy place for a quick getaway with girlfriends and our 4 dogs . So close to the beach the dogs got to play every day and we enjoyed a weekend of cooking good food in the fully stocked kitchen with everything you might possibly need. We spent our evenings in the hot tub and playing games and doing puzzles. It was exactly what we all needed.

Home Away from Home

Love love love Paws Under the Pines! We had a wonderful getaway and can’t wait to return. Our nosey 9yo rescue Jack Russell Terrorist gives this home 4 Paws Up- she loved having total yard freedom! So much that she didn’t want to come in, especially when the sun came out lol. Thank you for having a secure yard, just like we have at home, so we didn’t have to worry when she was out enjoying all the sniffs (and giving the neighbor’s dog a kiss through the fence). Super comfy beds, immaculately clean separate spaces to read, crochet, watch TV, or even paint, lounge on the deck, all just the break we needed. And the kitchen and coffee pantry is stocked to the brim! Looking forward to trying out the hot tub and arcade games on our next visit!

Great getaway designed around dog owners.

Spent 2 nights with my two dogs and a friend joining. The house was cozy, with many extra dog items included. There were dog towels, treats, bags waiting for us when we arrived, meaning less packing and more vacay. The creatures enjoyed the fenced yard and access to the beach. The humans enjoyed the hot tub, game cabinet and ping pong table (and the beach as well).

Quiet dog-friendly get away!

We had a fantastic visit at Paws under the Pines with our dogs. The instructions to get into the house and other pertinent details are well-communicated and easy to understand. The garage and dog room make it easy to keep sand tracking into the house at bay and were great places to keep our kennels. I appreciated the well-stocked kitchen with sharp knives (!) and the large fenced backyard for the dogs to go potty. The walk to the beach access is easy peasy and being just outside of Pacific City meant that the beaches were not terribly crowded, even on a nice August day. We can't wait to return for another fun coast getaway!

Amazing Place!

This home is absolutely fabulous! The dogs were in paradise and so were we! The accommodations were perfect for everyone. The walk to the beach is literally yards away and its a great section of beach to walk for miles. Its also a short drive to Pelican Brew Pub and the sand dune hill climb. The hot tub is fantastic and the house has everything you could ask for including a game room!! I can not wait to go back and stay again.

A wonderful stay for us and the pets! A+++

This property is a dream for dogs and their owners. A lovely fenced yard with beautiful grounds, huge hot tub and fun clubhouse and game room to hang in when the weather is not cooperating. We had a blast playing the many old school games on the Arcade. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with everything one could need. The dog enjoyed watching the bunnies and all the dog treats. I had to order myself a Whirly Pop popcorn machine AND the bidet when I got home!! We will definitely return!!

Pause with Paws

My Boys and I, two terriers, enjoyed a comfortable and accommodating weekend at Paws Under the Pines. A fenced yard provided security when on the property. With the ocean beach just across the street The Boys had plenty of freedom to run through the sand. We will be back to enjoy the comforts of this place especially arranged to cater to dogs and their humans.

Clean, peaceful, best hot tub ever

We had a wonderful stay at Paws Under the Pines. Everything was as described, beautiful, well-furnished, and clean. Highlights for us were: - The short walk to the beach. Easy to head over multiple times a day and walk back for meal and bio breaks. - The hot tub was the best we've ever seen. - The fenced yard was beautiful and a great place for our toddler to play without fear of running out into the street. - The raised herb garden was lovely to harvest for our meals! - The house itself was pretty easy to toddler-proof during our stay (we just moved a few breakables to upper shelves etc). - Cape Kiwanda and Pacific City are a short drive away, with good restaurants and a small but complete grocery store. Looking forward to our next stay!

The best dog-friendly property

Absolutely loved our stay. Perfect dog friendly property. Yard is fenced in, tons of dog extras (outdoor shower/hose, poop bags, brushes, dog towels, treats, etc), and just a short walk to the beach which is dog friendly. House had every amenity you could want. Every kitchen gadget imaginable. Wi-Fi worked great. Definitely no cell service, as mentioned, so if you need an SMS code for something, be sure to get that before you turn down the street the house is on. We only travel with our dogs, so it’s such a relief to find such an accommodating place for us all. We’ll be back!!

The Best Spot

We had such a fun time it's right next to the beach it's super quiet the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need to cook up a storm, the beach is white sands, soft like being in Barbados, the dog loves it because the yard is all for them and they love the bunnies too, they were so so so so cute, we tried to feed them but they ran off when the dog arrived haha. The hot tub so lovely, it's Cadillac of all hot tubs, and we played so many games on the arcade machine in the garage that our sides were hurting from laughing so much, I think it was an Atari game I wouldn't know I'm only 34, haha thanks again for an amazing trip to Pacific City, I've already booked my next stay, with my parents this time.

The property is in reach of all amenities, but feels private and borders on a national forest on one side and the coast a block away on the other. Ocean fishing? Yes. River fishing? easy, just a few minutes away. Surfing? We got that. Room to park a RV or boat? Absolutely. Charge your EV? Of course. Let your hound explore the yard? Necessary! Single-level coastal living? Grandma deserves the coast, too. <3
