Rock Creek MT with Private Creek Access. Clinton MT, Missoula MT

Rock Creek is a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream located just 45 minutes from Missoula, Montana and Missoula International Airport. A favorite stream for wade fishermen and women. Small enough to navigate by foot and large enough to provide a healthy habitat for Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Cutthroat, Trout, Brook Trout and Bull Trout. Rock Creek drains from The Pintlar Wilderness in SW Montana, making for a crystal clear mountain stream. Bighorn Sheep are often viewed just off the Rock Creek Road and on occasion pass through the subject property. Eagles, Osprey, Moose, Fox, Otters, Black Bears, Deer and Elk also inhabit the drainage. Rock Creek is surrounded by Forest Service for an array of hiking and biking opportunities.

This place was even better than we expected! If your looking for a place to stay that gives you the ability to fish amazing rivers then dont pass this up! Plus its close enough to Missoula to enjoy fine dinning and shopping. The family story, doubled the pictures and decor made you feel like you were part of something more than just a visitor, you were carrying on the families dream of fishing and enjoying the great outdoors of Montana. We enjoyed siting in the porch drinking coffee while watching deer and mountain goats walk through the property in front of us. What an amazing location this is!! We will be back!

Woody's is fantastic

Brad was a super host and the cabin and surrounding area was perfect for our fishing getaway. We'd love to return and spend more time here, it was a great location and accommodation.

Great getaway

Great Stay

Easy accessibility to good fly fishing as described. No air conditioning, but the temperature got into the 90’s during the day and the cabin stayed cool and comfortable.

Cabin was exactly what we needed for a few days on rock creek. Easy access to water and comfortable accommodations. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Fun on the creek

We had a very enjoyable stay. Not too far off the beaten path but far enough to get away. Nice trail to the creek, lots of space to hang outdoors including a great screened in porch. We would definitley stay again.

Rivers and stars

Always love our stay in Montana. Great little unit on a gorgeous piece of property. Managed very well. Also, caught fish which is the most important part.

Awesome spot

We had an amazing time, great fishing, big horn sheep right on the property and a beautiful location. My only complaint was we were there when it was hot so the house got pretty warm in the evening but we made the best of it!

Loved it!

Our 5 days here was amazing, saw tons of wildlife including, Moose, Whitetail and Mule deer, a Bald Eagle and Bighorn Sheep (while we cooked on the grill). The fishing was outstanding and access to the creek was easy and secluded from others using the public access points. Overall it was a great experience and we hope to be back someday soon.

Located in one of the most beautiful parts of Western Montana. Missoula and the airport is about 1 hour from the home. Visit the University of Montana, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and more. Glacier National Park is 3 hours away, while Yellowstone is 5 hours. Summer thunderstorms are amazing. They come and go rapidly. Weather can vary from 70's to upper 90's but evenings cool down nicely. Always an evening for a fire and viewing a night sky with stars that will amaze you.
