Rock Creek MT with Private Creek Access. Clinton MT, Missoula MT

Rock Creek is a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream located just 45 minutes from Missoula, Montana and Missoula International Airport. A favorite stream for wade fishermen and women. Small enough to navigate by foot and large enough to provide a healthy habitat for Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Cutthroat, Trout, Brook Trout and Bull Trout. Rock Creek drains from The Pintlar Wilderness in SW Montana, making for a crystal clear mountain stream. Bighorn Sheep are often viewed just off the Rock Creek Road and on occasion pass through the subject property. Eagles, Osprey, Moose, Fox, Otters, Black Bears, Deer and Elk also inhabit the drainage. Rock Creek is surrounded by Forest Service for an array of hiking and biking opportunities.

Great getaway

Fun on the creek

We had a very enjoyable stay. Not too far off the beaten path but far enough to get away. Nice trail to the creek, lots of space to hang outdoors including a great screened in porch. We would definitley stay again.

Great Stay

Easy accessibility to good fly fishing as described. No air conditioning, but the temperature got into the 90’s during the day and the cabin stayed cool and comfortable.

Cabin was exactly what we needed for a few days on rock creek. Easy access to water and comfortable accommodations. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Awesome spot

We had an amazing time, great fishing, big horn sheep right on the property and a beautiful location. My only complaint was we were there when it was hot so the house got pretty warm in the evening but we made the best of it!

Great Again

Loved it!

Our 5 days here was amazing, saw tons of wildlife including, Moose, Whitetail and Mule deer, a Bald Eagle and Bighorn Sheep (while we cooked on the grill). The fishing was outstanding and access to the creek was easy and secluded from others using the public access points. Overall it was a great experience and we hope to be back someday soon.

Overall, things were fine.

Access to Rock Creek was great. Plenty of room for three adult fishermen. Cooked several meals...all was well. The space heaters had me a little concerned, but heated the unit adequately.

Brad's cabin was perfect for our group of four fishermen. The kitchen was well provisioned and the house was well stocked with towels, linens, etc. Beds were comfortable and even without AC, the cabin cooled off in the evening for good sleeping. The five minute walk to Rock Creek provided some of the best fishing on the whole river. All in all, a wonderful experience!

Rock Creek Summer Trip

Great location. All of the amenities you will need including Weber grill, charcoal, lighter fluid, firewood, fire pit, cooking utensils, pots and pans(cast iron skillets!). Very quiet area with deer, turkeys and pine squirrels to torment the dog! The place could use a makeover, but for the price I have no complaints. Thanks Brad. Doug Stephens Bear Lake Idaho

It was hard to walk outside with all the rocks.

It was OK but not easy to access the water. We ended up going to other spots to fosh.

Awesome time on RC.

Fishing and peace. What a place. The house is perfectly set up for a small group of people wanting to get away from it all and enjoy all that Rock Creek and the valley offer. Easy drive to Missoula and more fishing at Clark Fork and Blackfoot, too. Rock Creek is a wonderful fishery and we also saw deer, big horn, bald eagles and more. So peaceful. House is well equipped for cooking, too.

Located in one of the most beautiful parts of Western Montana. Missoula and the airport is about 1 hour from the home. Visit the University of Montana, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and more. Glacier National Park is 3 hours away, while Yellowstone is 5 hours. Summer thunderstorms are amazing. They come and go rapidly. Weather can vary from 70's to upper 90's but evenings cool down nicely. Always an evening for a fire and viewing a night sky with stars that will amaze you.
