The property was clean, comfortable, and convenient for our stay. The rooms were well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful when needed. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend it to other travelers looking for a comfortable place to stay.

Pros: the layout of the house is wonderful, the river in the far back is fun to play in, the kitchen is fully equipped, the host is easy to communicate with. Cons: the bed in the master bedroom is awful, the hot tub is tiny and wasn’t clean, the pool isn’t heated and the AC turns off for long periods of time, waits until the house is uncomfortably hot, then makes it ice cold.

Thanks for staying with us, Blu! We're so glad you enjoyed the layout, kitchen, and river access. We really appreciate your feedback about the master bed, our pool guy was there there morning after your check in, the ac just needed to be adjusted to a lower temperature, you can set it up to any temperature you desire, about the bed we have only received compliments so far so not sure what made it so bad but we will look into it Thanks again and please next time communicate with us so we can solve or help you navigate the home better :)

The backyard is absolutely serene. Loved the area of three rivers, and was great for exploring Sequoia/Kings Canyon. My only critique would be somewhat dated, but perfectly functional bathrooms, and some cobwebs outside that could be cleaned up.

Perfect house for families visiting Sequoia NP

This place is fantastic for families! We were traveling with 3 little kids and they loooved the house! Everything was squeaky clean and ready for us when we arrived. The house is close to Sequoia National park (about 1hour away from general Sherman) so it was perfect for us to explore the park. We were so had we had to leave!

This is a cool little spot with a very retro vibe. A few things to know:This house is "pet friendly" - my sons and I are all pretty sensitive to pet dander and we did our share of sniffling and sneezing. This house is fairly "close" to Sequoia, but it's still a good 90 minute drive from the top of the mountain. You just can't really stay a whole lot closer than that. Nothing in town opens very early, so stock up on snacks and stuff the night before you head into the parks. We tried to get an early start and realized we wouldn't be able to buy anything before 7.

My children and family absolutely LOVED this place!We spent the weekend visiting the national park.The house is about 15 minutes from the park entrance. The home is clean with plenty of towels and blankets..central ac and heating..Nicely stocked kitchen and laundry amenities. The pool is super clean and river access at the bottom of the property..nice hot tub with views to relax with.. bring mosquitoe repellent...the mosquitoe activity is REAL because of the river...No complaints! Thank you for having us!

Zen House

My kids referred to this house on our vacation as the "Zen House". While we visited several California parks over a couple weeks, this house was the highlight for them! Being able to go from the pool, hot tub and creek in a matter of a few steps was so cool. There were many thoughtful little touches in the home - it was very clean and had everything we could think of. The host was lovely, accommodating and responsive. We wished we would have booked it for longer. As parents traveling with kids - this place was wonderful for all of us.

Great house about 15 minutes from the Sequoia Nat’l Park entrance. We enjoyed the park during the day and then relaxing at the home (eating in and using the pool and hot tub) at night.
