We are at Brasstown Bald, the tallest point in Georgia. You can take a shuttle most of the way or take a nice walk. You can see the monument from the balcony of our rental home, looks like a hay silo to the left. The view from the home is a beautiful breathtaking view with at least a 40 mountain peak view of national forest along with a peaceful view of Lake Chatuge and a western sunset exposure. The view can even be enjoyed from the living area in the winter.

Small enough to make you feel away from all the hustle and chaos of a larger city but large enough to enjoy shopping and dinning in a small town. See how beautiful Lake Chatuge and the mountains of North Georgia can be. Just one mile from the middke of Hiawassee, this home is at the at a dead end private road. You may even hear the creek that is on one side of the property. You will feel like you are all alone with nature.
