Charming cabin on the beautiful Hiawassee River headwaters. Located just a short 15 minute mountain drive to alpine Helen, Georgia. This cabin is a true unicorn – sitting on a rare, flat 1.7-acre grassed lot with stunning river frontage. Relax on the porch and listen to the river, or cozy up by the fire pit surrounded by the sounds of the water and the crackling fire. This is truly a slice of paradise. Ideally located and a short drive to Helen and Hiawassee.

Loved the place. Creek was great and yard big enough for dogs. Only suggestion is to have lined curtains on bedroom windows. Ample kitchen dishes etc

Wonderful place! The hosts were so accommodating and responsive to any of my needs. We were able to have a total of six guests comfortably with the pullout couch. Great location. Will absolutely come again and enjoy this beautiful property.

It was an absolute pleasure hosting Kara and her group! They were easy-going, respectful, and left the cabin in perfect condition. We highly recommend her to other hosts and would gladly welcome them back anytime!

Quiet neighborhood and large property on the creek made for a relaxing getaway with our pups! Good location if you'd like to visit both Hiawassee and Helen

The cabin is perfect! It was so comfortable and cute and traditional. We loved it. The beds were very comfortable. What a lovely location.

We LOVED staying here, definitely recommend staying here if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life! The cabin is super cute and quaint and was perfect for our family and dogs. Being right by the river was great to sit outside and listen to, and very relaxing! The location is perfect and central to everything. The owners of the property were great, very attentive if we had any questions or concerns.

The cabin is a great spot for relaxing and getting away from our busy lives. The host is very responsive. We loved the two creeks that run thu the property. The house has lots of history.

The furnishings made it feel like home. We also appreciated the real ceramic dinnerware and glassware. Made us feel like trusted adults. Our hosts were very busy people, but they always made time to address any concern we had. We richly enjoyed sitting by the campfire two evenings of our stay. Moody Hollow is a very beautiful and walkable area. Brasstown Bald is only 15 minutes away and provided spectacular views. It's dog-friendly too!This home is a winner. Many thanks to Lisa and Brian.

This cabin is old, but it was okay.My Family and I plan to have a BBQ at this cabin. The list of amenities shows a BBQ grille, but when we arrived, there was none. The owner promised to bring a new one the next day; however, no grill was delivered, nor was there any message from the owner. Not only did we waste the food prepared, but we also ruined our happy plan. My family traveled many places at least 4 times a year for the last 20 years. This trip was the worst of all.

What I told you was that there was a gas grill at the cabin but it needed to be assembled. But you are right I did say I would assemble it. Honestly it just slipped my mind and I am sorry for that. I know you shouldn't have to, but I wish you would have pinged us to check on the grill when it was getting time to cook. What is not right is giving a one start rating over this instead of grading us fairly on the entire stay. When giving your rating, you were asked to grade us on cleanliness among other aspects. Clearly you gave us a 1 when beyond all doubt the cabin was an immaculate 5 star. If you were a fair person you would have graded us fairly instead of vengefully. Yes the cabin old, that kind of the point. It's also newly renovated.
