It was a great stay while my son and k were relocating everything we needed was included in the cabin

Mathew was an awesome host, everything was perfect, comfortable, cozy and the neighborhood is very quiet at night time. I would definitely recommend another person to stay at the same rental as i stayed at.

The first thing my husband had to fix the lock, need a better couch, no paper towels, need bigger coffee filters, there were no garbage bags, the air fresheners were empty, there were nails in the floor my husband had to hammer back down but other than that it was clean.

Roach and Ants and Strong Smells

The place itself was cute and the neighborhood was quiet, is the best I can say about our stay. Upon arrival there was no hot water. We contacted our host and was told about the hot-water switch by the sink. Not long after there was a knock on the door and it was the host, I guess to check on us? It felt invasive, but since she was there and we'd found a roach on the bed we told her about that. Her response was rather dismissive, telling us to contact the park manager ourselves if we found any more. We also asked for more towels but she said that's all we get for our 3-night stay. Later that day and for the rest of our stay we had problems with ants in the kitchen so we couldn't put food on the counter. The fridge was missing the bars that hold food in the door, and the shelves were too short so food would fall off if put too far in toward the back. The microwave and some kitchen supplies were not clean. The place smelled very musty, even with the overpowering scents they had plugged into various outlets. The sliding door to the bedroom was difficult to close. Others used our parking spots as overflow parking. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

You mentioned you contacted the host to ask about the hot water switch, and were then surprised the one of the hosts knocked on the door to help you with it. We value our customers, so immediately stopped by to help you as you requested. We have a management, cleaning, and maintenance crew available to take care of our guests and our homes. Like hotels, we don't replace towels each day, but supply you with enough towels for each guests. That helps keep costs down, which allows us to keep our rates at bargain prices for our guests. As for ants, we apologize the weather brought them into the home. Our home is located in Texas, where tropical weather and our expansive country living attracts a variety of wildlife. Because of that, we have regular service with Terminix to help keep our homes clean from pests. You are the first guest that has had ants in the home due to our regular maintenance. Our home is catered to guests who want a budget friendly stay in a quiet location. We enjoy taking care of our guests, and meeting people from across the nation who wish to visit our warm climate and friendly people. You are welcome back any time!
