Our home is situated on a lake in the middle of Chapel Hill. Beautiful architectural details. 5 bedrooms 4.5 baths. A 6th bedroom/bath is available if needed (additional fee). Inquire about options. Private dock with kayaks and paddle boards. The house can be rented out by room or the whole house.
Great for family reunions, small weddings, rehearsal dinners, graduation, ballgame weekends & girl friend getaways. Events allowed with a fee.

Large game room with a Pool & Foosball tables. Movie theater to watch your favorite movie, enjoy some popcorn and football game.

With a private dock you will able to enjoy drinks and watch the sunset or take the kayaks out and enjoy the lake.

Our unique space is on the only lake in the middle of Chapel Hill NC. 5 minute drive to downtown Chapel Hill or our local University Place with a theater and great dining options. 3 min drive to Franklin Street and Whole Foods.

Beautiful home with relaxing areas throughout. Reading nooks or desks to get your work done.

The property, home, and furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. Every amenity imaginable was included and the host responded quickly to questions. This is an elegant, spacious home where every room is designed for beauty and comfort. We are already planning another family gathering.

An absolute outstanding place to stay!!! We were 8 adults and 3 children under 6. Lots of room to roam and play. Each bedroom was perfectly cleaned and appointed. Game room and media room were a surprise bonus and well used. Highly recommend this property and will certainly stay here again when traveling to Chapel Hill.

Everything anyone could ever hope for and even more! The hosts were extremely friendly and very helpful making our visit pleasant and relaxing. This was the nicest property that I’ve ever stayed in!

Lovely, peaceful, quiet, Lakehouse

We loved staying here at this Lakehouse! It was comfortable, peaceful, with plenty of room to spread out. The host was responsive and was helpful in answering any questions before our check in.

Short but nice trip

We stayed 2 nights and the property was perfect! I wish we were staying longer but we were in town for a wedding. Several families fit comfortably, it was well appointed and beautiful! Owners were a pleasure! We would definitely stay again if we were in the area again!

Lovely home. Very warm and inviting. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need. Lots of large gathering spaces where all 11 of us could be together. House was very clean. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Great vacation home!

Great Place to stay for a wedding weekend!

We stayed here with our daughter and her bridesmaids and it was perfect! Everyone had their own room and many different places to hang out. The lake was beautiful and the house had everything we needed. We all are looking for an excuse to return!

Chapel Hill Lakehouse-great stay

Great location with a lot of room in the house for family time. Lake is beautiful and nice to sit in the back and enjoy the view. Close to a Whole Foods and many restaurants. Short drive to UNC Chapel hill. Owners were easy to communicate with and helpful.

Amazing

This was an incredible house and the hosts couldn't have been more accommodating and communicative. We all graduated from UNC and travel to Chapel Hill every year. I hope to stay at this beautiful house for every future trip.

Wonderful, relaxing stay

This house was beautiful with a space for everything. Highlights include wild deer on the road, reading on the dock, and relaxing on the screened in porch. So peaceful and still a 5 min ride to UNC/ Chapel Hill. Awesome!

Absolutely incredible

The property was incredible! So spacious and clean, and in an incredible location. We loved the fully loaded kitchen, as we cooked several big meals used the kitchen and living room as our central gathering space. The host provided a tour and made us feel very welcomed!

Sherry is from Coastal NC but has lived in Chapel Hill since 1990 and loves it! David is from Connecticut, and came here by way of California. Chapel Hill is a great college town being home to the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. Duke University and NC State are just up the road. Having owned Ladies Fitness & Wellness centers for many years and being an entrepreneur, Sherry loves meeting and helping people.

My husband David ran a B&B in for a short time 1989 and loves to cook. We both love fitness & golf. We have six children between us, with our youngest just starting college this fall. David was an exchange student in Germany in 1980, and last year we returned the honor by hosting our 7th child from Italy. We had our first granddaughter in 2014. We love hosting events in our beautiful lakeside home. As empty nesters now, we would like to share our home by the lake.

An optional 6th bedroom (owner's private suite) with private large bathroom is available for an additional fee if need. Sleeps 2. On the main level. (Great for guests that can't handle stairs)
