This was our 2nd time renting this property, a week this time, and it was just perfect for our needs. Only one hiccup, loss of power, that was resolved within a few minutes of reaching out to our host. Kitchen was equipped with all the necessary essentials so we could eat in with family instead of spending extra money dining out. Bedrooms are spacious with very comfy beds. Grandkids spent one night and there was even a story book found on the property to put them to sleep by. Neighborhood is quiet and centrally located in Covington with an easy commute to Mandeville. Thank you for allowing us to stay again and making our vacation stay another great time.

We stayed at this property for 7 weeks to visit and help our daughter who lives in the area. Loved the layout of the house and the AC worked great! It is advertised with a washer/dryer and the washer is terribly out of balance jumping off the floor when we tried several times to use it even after Marcie came to look at it. That was disappointing. Thankfully we were able to do our laundry at our daughter’s house. Other things that need addressing and have been noted by previous renters are the need for blackout curtains in the bedrooms. We had to hang the extra blankets up as the Nextdoor neighbor has a bright light that shines in. Also the furniture needs updating. The couch hurt my back and the mattress in the front bedroom is shot. If improvements were made we would rent again here. Host was good about communicating.

Wonderful experience, great communication with the host when we had a question. The property was was in excellent condition. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. We will recommend this host, this and any other property Marcie owns/manages.

Jan was a a pleasant tenant. There were a couple things pointed out about the home but we took care of them. All rules followed.

We had a wonderful stay, this property is in excellent condition, well maintained and in a quiet, safe area. Marcie, our host, did a great job communicating with us anytime we had a question. Marcie went above and beyond accommodating us, we would not hesitate staying in this home again and plan to recommend this and any other property Marcie owns/manages to everyone we can.

We stayed for 4 nights and very much enjoyed the space and layout of the home. Beds were very comfortable and good size closet space. Kitchen provided us with the essentials that were needed. The only things that we would request for the owner would be to add tv’s back into the bedrooms and to put some type of shade or blind on the glass front door for more privacy. We would love to stay again on our next visit.

Quiet Mandeville, LA stay

Very nice for our purpose. Convenient to the seminar location. If I'm offering a suggestion...the bed frame could be less noisy - squeaky.

Everything was wonderful except the bed in the smaller bedroom was uncomfortable. It was too soft and two people would roll together in the middle.

Yes the home is clean

Location is close to freeway. Host provides the bare minimum. Doesn't bother to have hand soap in both bathrooms or an extra roll of t.p. Ended up going to Walmart to get an extra pillow & extra throw

House was clean however a few things could be fixed to make the stay better. There was an iron but no ironing board. The disposal was still not working even though several guests prior commented it was broken.

Beautiful, comfortable home

This townhome is really well designed and nicely decorated. It is beautiful inside. I can't give it a 5 because some of the glassware, particularly high in the cabinets, was dirty. Also, there were not enough cooking utensils (particularly knives), the garbage disposal was broken, and the towels were in the dryer and not in the bathroom when we arrived. All easily remedied to get a top rating.

The house was in a rundown, high-traffic area and didn’t feel safe. Entry key was left under a shell in the front garden. No curtains on large glass doors exposed the entire interior, including the guest room where my young daughter slept. Alarm system was triggered due to lack of signage and the host was unresponsive for hours—leaving us to deal with a blaring alarm at 5:30 AM before a scheduled surgery. Kitchen was understocked, house was not clean (bugs, dirty dishes, spider eating a bug in the bathroom), and beds were uncomfortable with no extra pillows or basic amenities (like bathroom hand soap). Overall an extremely stressful and disappointing stay. Would not recommend.
