Condo was as described and had everything we needed. Especially loved the extra blankets everywhere. Could use a little more cleaning (makeup stains on wall in guest bath, scuff marks on the wall) but minor issues. Remember to bring your own firewood as it is not provided. Also, there is no parking at the resort level - you have to park in lots below the resort down the hill with a shuttle provided. Grocery shopping was close by along with various restaurants. King size bed was comfortable and plenty of towels were provided.

We had a great stay at this condo! The unit was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our time in the mountains. Everything was in good working order and clearly well cared for. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting the area.

The host did a wonderful job communicating which made for a seamless check in. The condo is immaculate with all necessary items. It was very nice to have the washer/dryer. The condo also has a beautiful view of the ski slopes.

Great stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. The rental company and resort staff were very responsive and accommodating. The condo is redone nicely. Kitchen well stocked with pots/pans and utensils (but bring all your own soaps, sponges, trash bags, spices, etc). We got snowed/iced in a few days, so the pool area was perfect for the kids. Spoke the rental company about the cleaners, could do a better job with the cleaning but overall we would stay here again!!!! Location is perfect for Sugar skiing.

Fall Trip to Banner Elk

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We throughly enjoyed our stay at SugarTop with friends. It was close to Food Lion and driving distance to downtown Banner Elk. The condo shuttle staff were great and recommended things to do in the area.

I WOULD GIVE IT A HIGHER RATING BUT SADLY IT WASN'T AS CLEAN AS WHAT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. PROPERTY MANAGER DISMISSED MY COMPLAINT. SUCH A CUTE CONDO. THEY REALLY NEED TO HIGHER NEW CLEANERS AND MAKE SURE THE SHEETS ARE ACTUALLY WASHED AND THAT THEY CLEAN UNDER TABLES AND IN THE CORNER OF THE ROOMS.

Thank you for choosing Sugar Mountain! We are sorry you did not find the unit as clean as expected. We did not dismiss your complaint, but you did not notify us of any issues about the cleaning until the day before you were to check out. You had already been in the unit 3 nights before you told us that your sheets were dirty. If you had told us the night you checked in or the next morning, we would have addressed it immediately. You also told us you found food on the floor 3 days into your stay. At this point, we were unsure of who had left the food on the floor. We take cleaning issues very seriously and strive to keep all units as clean as possible. Again, we apologize for any issues you had and hope you come again.

We had a great time. This condo is on the 4th floor and on the very top of the mountain. 2.5 miles up. Beautiful views and close to restaurants, a grocery store and a mountain coaster. This condo is beautifully decorated with king bed in the master with the a stone shower and queen bed in the second bedroom. It has Wi-Fi and board games for family entertainment. The balcony has two chairs so you can sit and look at the sunrise and sip on your coffee. Would definitely recommend

TVs were not easy to operate and one remote had leaking batteries. The stove display flickers making it difficult to cook. The kitchen needs larger pans. The master bathroom toilet seat was very loose.The unit has keypad entry but no entry code was sent before check in.If these issues were fixed, we might consider renting again.

We sent a text message to the phone number we had on file explaining that you needed to come by our office to pick up your guest packet, which included the key code. We ask guests at Sugar Top Resorts to come by our office to pick up a parking pass to make getting through the gate an easier process. There was also an after-hours phone number given in the text and in the guest guide that was in your packet for you to call with any issues. We are sorry for these problems, but we would have been happy to help you if you had called. We are sorry if you did not receive your directions. We try to make every guest's stay enjoyable.
