The house was very outdated there is no inside access to the upstairs, you have to go outside to go upstairs. There is no bathroom upstairs so you have to go outside to go the main house for the bathroom. The game room was very hot. The pool sticks didn’t have tips therefore we could not use the pool table, ping-pong we could never find the ball or the paddle, the poker table was OK. Therefore the only usage we got was the poker table. The basketball goal is broken so no usage there.The washer and dryer the bottom panel was off they did work though. They did not cut the grass therefore there were stickers everywhere which made it a nightmare for everyone. The neighbor next-door constantly came over to complain about everything about our music which wasn’t even loud about our parking which we were parked in the parking areas. The garbage disposal didn’t work, the vacuum cleaner didn’t work there was leaks throughout the house. The only positive thing about this house was that it slept all of us

Spacious, comfortable accommodations!

The home accommodates large families but is more like a fisherman’s paradise in regards to sleeping quarters. There are three private bedrooms downstairs and there is an huge upstairs bedroom that has beds for about maybe 12 people or more. Great for family reunions where you can put all the kids upstairs. Only problem is there is no restroom upstairs and only an outside entrance—no indoor staircase. So if you gotta tinkle at night—you gotta use the outdoor staircase and come into the main house. Other than that it’s a great place for large families. The back garage has a pool table, large bar, tv, ping pong-super nice but can use some remodeling. It was cold in there and there wasn’t a portable heater. We made the best of it and could all hang out and play games. I think overall I give the place a four out of five—just because it was comfy and all the family could be together. That’s what’s more important for me than luxury. So think of the place as a hunting/fishing no-nonsense place where you can lay your head. But the entire extended family can be under one roof. Oh—the house sits on probably an acre so plenty of parking and a super nice fire pit. Lots of wildlife—deer—roaming around that you can feed. The place could also use some nicer bedspreads! I did leave a couple things behind and tried to reach the owner but he never got back with me. Disappointing but it was the thanksgiving weekend so I’m guessing he was busy with his family.

I’m really glad to hear that you and your family enjoyed the space, especially the upstairs area for the kids and the game room. I completely understand how having an indoor staircase and an additional restroom upstairs would have been more convenient, and I appreciate your feedback on that. As for the game room, I’ll certainly look into adding a portable heater for cooler nights and updating the bedspreads to enhance comfort. I’m especially sorry that I missed your message about the items you left behind. I never want a guest to feel ignored, and I regret not getting back to you sooner—especially during the holiday season.
