Location: Amalfi Coast Resort, Scenic Gulf Drive, Miramar Beach, Florida (one mile west of Silver Sands Outlet Mall on Scenic Gulf Drive).

Accommodations: Condo, 1 Bedroom, sleeper sofa, plus bunk area, sleeps 6, and 2 full baths

Want to stay in a place that arks around a tropical lagoon on one of the highest elevations on the Emerald Coast? If so, then you have got to try our condo at the Amalfi Coast or at least our Florida version of the Italian original. Barefoot by the Sea sits on eight and one half acres of beautifully landscaped grounds on Scenic Gulf Drive. The elevation here was created by an old dune which was used by mariners to mark this part of the beach from the adjacent flats. The gated beach access across the street from the Amalfi Coast takes full advantage of this height with an old fashioned Observation Gazebo which sits above the staircase that leads down to the beach. The condo complex wraps around twin swimming pools which are elevated above a natural lagoon with a festive fountain. A graceful, arching pedestrian bridge from the pool area crosses over the lagoon and past the palm trees to take you to the beach. The simultaneous views of the twin pools, lush landscaping, lagoon and grassy lawns with the gulf in the distance are quite stunning. Barefoot by the Sea is one bedroom with two baths, fully equipped kitchen, open dining and living areas, a hallway cove that includes bunk beds, washer and dryer as well as the covered balcony.

Rental not available to vacationing students or singles under age of 25. No smoking and no pets.

Our condo shares one thing in common which is a fantastic location on Miramar Beach. Located half way between Destin and Scenic 30A in South Walton you have the best of both worlds so to speak, due to its conveniently centralized location. Scenic Gulf Drive has beachfront dining just minutes away from the Surf Hut, Whale's Tail, Pompano Joe's, Royal Palm Grill and Crab Trap. The largest Designer Outlet Silver Sands, is also located in Miramar Beach. A multitude of restaurants, shops, galleries and live entertainment abound nearby at Sandestin, Baytowne Wharf and on Grand Boulevard.

everything you need is in condo. easy check in. OWNER IS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH Every thing you need is in condo. well furnished. Owner is easy to work with and communite with. Condo very large for being a one bedroom. would highly recommend.

Great Stay!

Awesome Condo! Very clean, great view. When the beach access is completed this will be perfect as we had to walk a bit to get to our beach. We would stay here again!

Great location

Roomy 1-BR WITH VIEW OF OCEAN. Sally was very helpful and prompt with questions. Check-in process very smooth. Beach chair service a plus.

Beautiful Vacation

We had such a wonderful time staying in Mark & Sally's condo! The views were beautiful and the condo is much larger than the pictures show! Best beach in the US! Sally was very helpful with any questions and we cannot wait to return!

Excellent vacation

We had an excellent vacation at the beach. The condo was great, very clean, well equipped and organized. Communication with Sally was great, before and during our stay. She was always available to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this condo. We will certainly go back in the future.

Only a Week of Paradise

Our stay was way too short. Only one small comment inconvenience….the beach was a liitle far of a walk. The host was terrific!!!!!!!!!

Incredible vacation!

My wife and I wanted to do something special for our 35th anniversary. We decide on a two week vacation in Destin. We both agreed that this was the best vacation we ever had. The condo was great, with a great view, and the entire complex was kept in outstanding condition. We look definitely come back, and plan on doing just that.

Great Location

We really loved the location of this property (right across from the beach) and the resort had nice green space and pools. The owner was responsive to our questions before and during our stay. Negatives for me were the furniture seemed pretty worn out, the towels could use a refresh and although the appliances were old they functioned just fine. Overall we were happy with everything and felt we got a good value.

Fantastic location & Condo

I have nothing bad to say about our stay. There was more than enough room for the two of us. Perfect location. We walked across the street every morning and evening for the sunrise/sunset. You can walk the beach for miles. They have everything you need at the condo. If we get back to Florida we will definitely stay there again.

Loved our 2nd Year with Mark and Sally

New patio furniture was a nice attractive touch and really distinguished this unit. This is our "go to" place to stay when we go the beach. Will always check Mark and Sally's place for availability. Price, location, cleanliness, friendliness and helpfulness of owners, the Almafi resort itself is incredible, beach access, free chair/umbrella...it all adds up to the perfect place for me and my family.

Great location, beautiful Condo & property

Sally & Mark's Condo is Great !!! It truely felt like home away from home !!! Absolutely a beautiful Condo, clean and equipped with everything you could opposable need. The Property is Beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Would defiantly stay again if available ! And the free Beach service is a "Huge Bonus !!! Thanks again Sally ! Keith & Jenna from Ky.

Beautiful, clean resort with perfect proximity to restaurants, grocery, and the beach.

My wife and I had a great 1st visit to Destin. We had no idea what to expect but were immediately amazed with Amalfi Coast and our condo unit 207. The condo is spacious, clean, had tons of essentials to make our week easy and is located with great views of the ocean and pool. Having the beach service was a HUGE bonus and with easy walking on the beach road, we stumbled upon great restaurants such as Whales Tail and Surf Hut (fave). We definitely hope to return with our 3 kids or bring some other couples down to all stay at Amalfi. Barefoot by the Sea will definitely be our first choice!

Awesome Vacay

This condo has everything a family needs for an awesome stay at the beach. The landscaping around the resort is beautiful and maintained very well. The walk to the beach is short and the view from the condo is great. There are even fish and turtles that live in the lake between the pool and beach that you can feed (feeder right on the bridge) that my son loved. The bed is super comfortable and the sheets are really nice. The condo owners are very nice and helpful. We will definitely be returning next year.

Perfect vacation spot!

This was our second time to Miramar Beach and this was our favorite condo. I love that the units are gated. You can see everything from the balcony. The ocean, pools, fire pit and fish pond. My kids loved the bunk beds and Xbox and we loved that there are two showers on the master. Made it quick to get ready for dinner after a day at the beach. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful hospitality and great place to stay!

We had a great time staying here! The condo was impressive-- so close to the private beach and looking out over the water-- just wonderful! We loved the layout of the condo and all the space it had to offer. The owners were so gracious and accommodating and made the stay delightful! We did a lot of cooking in the condo and it was well stocked with everything you needed- from various pots and pans, any appliance you could need, spices for cooking and saran wrap and tupperware for storing leftovers. We were really impressed with the condo itself, the development it was in and how close it was to everything we wanted to visit. We will definitely be back for many more visits!!

Destin 2013 in the books.....awesome trip! Condo was clean, spacious and just as described. This location couldn't be better with the pools and beach access right across the street and the new ramp access to the beach is so helpful especially when your lugging all the "things" for your beach day. Sally was so great to work with, we appreciate so much how smooth the entire rental process went from start to finish. Destin & Amalfi Coast....... we'll see ya soon🌴

Beautiful & spacious condo!!

Absolutely loved this condo! It was truly spotless and smelled so fresh and clean when we arrived. The living room and kitchen were so spacious with plenty of room for 4 or more people. Two showers in one of the bathrooms was such a great bonus too especially with 4 females getting ready at one time. I highly recommend this condo for almost any occasion. It's location could not have been more perfect for an ocean view, a grocery store and the outlet mall literally right down down the street. Absolutely loved everything about the condo and its location!! We had a wonderful girls week!

Perfect VACA

This was our second year staying in Mark and Sally's condo. My husband and I agree this home is the best one we have ever stayed in, in Destin. Perfect location, ( so easy to get to beach, close to grocery store, close to pools, shopping mall very clos). The grounds are absolutely beautiful and so well manicured. We loved sitting on the deck with our coffee every morning. Sally is the one that I spoke with, and I cannot tell you how precious she is! Our perfect vacation and we will be back every chance we get. Thank you for sharing your wonderful condo with us.

Old friends reunion

Mark and Sally, my visit to Florida was not only special because I got together with one of my oldest and dearest friends, but also because we had such a wonderful place to stay. Homey, cozy, comfortable, clean, accommodating, convenient. When asked how I spent my vacation I said "We either sat on the beach, walked on the beach, sat by the pool, swam in the pool, and sat on the balcony overlooking all of it. Very relaxing! Loved it! Oh, and the day in May that I flew in I left 37 degree temps to come to a true pasadise!

We knew the Emerald Coast and this little slice of paradise was our 'home' after my tour to Eglin AFB. We met here and we love the powder sugar beaches of the area, swimming, boating and fishing. Destin is 'the Luckiest Little Fishing Village' so we knew immediately that we would put down permanent roots here. We want to share our home and treasured beaches with our family from Illinois, friends and visiting guests. We hope you can visit and fall in love with our beautiful paradise just like we did so many years ago!

The resort is gated for your security and now offers a fitness center and firepit. This stretch of Miramar Beach doesn't have unsightly high rises. It provides for a relaxing vacation.
