Thank you! We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay in Southold serenity! Everything in Matt’s well equipped, updated home signaled comfort and relaxation. With such a delightful back yard setting, complete with a large pool and screened porch, some days we didn’t even make the very short walk to the private community beach!

Spent Columbus Weekend at this wonderful property. It was the perfect location for us as it was close to the farmstands, wineries and great restaurants! The house was great, well stocked and clean. We were able to relax in the back room. The beds were comfortable and everything about the house was as written. The pool was closed and it would have been too cold to use but the deck and firepit were nice additions. The short walk to the private beach was great as we were able to watch the the sunrise and sunsets. Matt the host was wonderful and very responsive to emails and needs. It was a pleasure to stay at this property. The neighborhood was quite and serene. Perfect for a weekend getaway! Thanks for sharing your home with us! Would love to stay here again!

Great stay!

We loved everything about this home. It is well appointed, clean and comfy. The outdoor seating space is also wonderful, as is the nearby beach. I highly recommend this perfect vacation spot.

Well-appointed home in a quiet neighborhood. The house felt clean and taken care of. The pool and deck area are really nice for lounging outside. Would definitely recommend to someone else or stay again.

Had a great time with the family here in southold! The house was clean and we were able to have some family stop by to visit! The backyard was perfect for bbq, swimming and playing games in the grass all day long. Would gladly stay here again!!! The beach being close by is also so nice for midday fun or sunset walk.

The home was clean, and immaculate. Check in process very simple communication with owner easy everything you needed. Was there was very happy with the experience probably will come back!

Did I find a good place? Yes I did. We loved our time here, and that includes little kids and a senior grandma. There is something for everyone and the home itself is super comfortable, spacious and clean. We all want to come back! Thank you Matt

This house has potential but there were too many things not working – the master bathroom is tiny with only one small hook and no shelves with no place to put wet towels or toiletries; both bathrooms needed scrubbing, with dirty linens and used toothbrushes and toothpaste left; several light fixtures were not working; refrigerator ice maker and water dispenser also not working; nice screened in porch had many unpatched holes to let the bugs in… The pool was lovely but swarming with mosquitoes since there had been no spraying at the beginning of the season. The beach was wonderful – a short walk away and usually completely empty. The house provided excellent beach chairs and umbrellas. If you are looking for peace and quiet though this is not the place. It’s not the owner’s fault but there was a neighboring child who literally screamed outside every day from 8am to 8pm.All that being said, the owner was very helpful and responsive whenever he could help and left wine and flowers and even paid for our beach pass. I feel that his inexperience renting the house showed and hopefully everything will be fixed and the house will be worth the very hefty price by next year.

Leni, We are sorry your experience did not meet your expectations. I noted some of your complaints with our cleaning service. Your other complaints have been addressed regarding hooks in bathroom and dead batteries in the 2 light fixtures above the twin beds. This year was very difficult to control mosquitos but did our best having the property sprayed multiple times for you. Wish you the best.
