This spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath lakefront retreat sleeps up to 8 and is made for easy lake weekends, family getaways and relaxing with friends.

Enjoy peaceful water views, comfortable indoor spaces and plenty of outdoor room to gather—all while being just minutes from nearby boat ramps, marinas and everything Rough River has to offer.

While there is **no private dock or direct lake access from the property**, enjoying Rough River by boat is still easy.

• Large U-shaped driveway makes parking and maneuvering a boat trailer convenient
• Multiple public boat ramps and marinas are located nearby
• Launch for the day, then bring your boat and trailer back to the house
• Plenty of space to relax at home after a day on the water

Because shoreline access around Rough River Lake is regulated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, guests should plan to use nearby public access poin

Lake view is top notch. Overlooks a cove so you can watch plenty of watercraft drive by. Within 15 minutes of restaurants and the state park which was nice. No dock or lake access from the home even though it’s right on the water. Master bedroom is a separate building, which isn’t ideal when you have kids. Also, the pictures show a triple bunk bed, that is no longer in the home. It is now a queen bed. It’s a lovely little getaway though!

Kitchen was great! Not many restaurants choices in the area without a drive. But a perfect place to cook. Very roomy and relaxing highly recommend

Beautiful location over the water

Nice stay. The grill is complicated. The master bedroom/bath is very nice. The tub is fantastic. We sat outside with a fire pit table and hung out. The kitchen needs some tlc….,

My family and I booked this home in May for a September wedding. A few weeks before the wedding Tiffany messaged me and said the bunk beds were damaged by a previous guest and they had replaced them with a queen. This complicated our sleeping arrangements due to needing 3 single beds and we booked this home based on that. It’s not her fault they were damaged and she did offer to cancel our reservation, however with only a few weeks to go -we had zero options. I asked her to discount our stay since we were losing a bed. She declined but offered an early check in and late check out as a compromise. We agreed since she told us there was a pull out in the living room as well.Well not only is there NOT a queen pull out. There was zero bedding to go with it. What’s there is an “extendable” sofa, but a grown adult would easily hang off a foot or so at the end of the bed. A small child would fit diagonally. The first night we made due with sharing blankets from our queen bed. We messaged Tiffany in the morning to which she said her cleaners would drop some off. The cleaners never came. We also had nothing to cook with in the oven. No bakeware, pizza rack, cookie sheet, etc. Hopefully that issue will be resolved. I messaged her about that as well, but she didn’t respond until after we had checked out.There is nothing to iron with. So bring one I guess? And we found dog hair all in our bed.I feel like a small refund would have gone a long way and shown more integrity.

Again, we offer our sincere apologies. All of those missing items have been addressed & our management company has corrected & will ensure there are always plenty of extra bedding, bakeware & iron/ironing board for future guests. The Queen sleeper sofa does fully extend to a Queen if operated & pulled out correctly. Thank you for bringing all of this to our attention & we are glad you enjoyed your visit to Rough River!

Great stay. Really enjoyed the back deck, relaxation, and the view. Was exactly perfect getaway for our needs. Great location. Smooth check in and check out experience.
