Summary:
Escape to the relaxing Sea Ranch with a vacation at Pelican’s Landing.

The Space:
This 3 bedroom/2 bathroom rental features a cozy interior and a prime location perched on the bluff. Enjoy the gorgeous oceanfront views from nearly every room and having the bluff trail at their doorstep. The Del Mar Recreation Center is a 10-minute walk away, and a quick drive down PCH leads to the Gualala Point Regional Park, and the Shell Beach Access Trail.

The inside of Pelican’s Landing showcases and open floorplan seamlessly connecting a living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room is furnished with comfortable seating gathered around a gas fireplace and Smart TV (with streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu). Relax here with family and friends while watching a movie or simply enjoying watching the blue ocean waves roll in. WIFI is also provided throughout the home for your convenience.

The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with updated stainless steel appliances and a kitchen island with seating for 2. Smaller kitchen appliances include a blender, toaster, coffee maker, slow cooker, and wine ware. Dine over a home cooked meal with all your guests at the dining table just steps away. The dining table has seating for 8.

Plenty of your time will be spent outside on the back deck. The deck is clad with 2 patio chairs perfect for sipping a glass of vino while watching a breathtaking sunset over the Pacific Ocean.

Pets are strictly not allowed due to allergies. There is parking for 2 cars in the driveway. Street parking is not allowed.

The Sea Ranch is a planned community with over 3000 acres featuring: The Historic Sea Ranch Chapel, The Sea Ranch lodge (restaurant and shopping), a 50-mile trail system with 6 public beach access points, dog park, and 3 recreation centers with outdoor pools, locker rooms, half-basketball court, and tennis courts (amenities vary with each center) for guest use. RV's, trailers, or mobile homes are strictly not allowed.

- There is a camera on the property facing on the patio facing the trash enclosure.
- EV charger is located in garage.
- This home is equipped with solar and uses renewable energy.

Wonderful location

We have stayed in multiple places in Sea Ranch over the years. This place was top notch with its location and views. Close to Del Mar center. Right on the walking paths. Beautiful views from every room. Kitchen was great and fully stocked with equipment. Loved the big couch and family room. Only issue were all the beds were queen size. The master mattress was also very firm so I didn’t get the best sleep. But 10/10 everywhere else.

Beautiful home, beautiful setting ! January on the coast is quiet and solitary- except for the wild windy and rainy weather ! Not a problem while staying here. Cozy fireplace, ocean view, well equipped kitchen, and comfortable furniture all made for a wonderful relaxing getaway.

We had a great stay - it was easy to get in and the property had everything we needed for the weekend. It’s a beautiful house in a great location on the coast. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Horrible Property Management

We booked the place for 4 nights. The owners should consider using a local person to manage their property because we will not be coming back and will not be renting another house using this property management company. Pros: The location was great and the house was nice. The kitchen was fully stocked. Cons: We got there 2 hours early and were told to wait in Gualala for the packet. We did drive to the rental and noticed nobody was there but the management company said the house wasn’t ready. We then were told after 4pm that the packet was in the house. So now we were already not happy and we get in the house and it’s hot, you can tell nobody has been in there for days and we could have checked in a little early. The floors were a bit dusty, there was a clump of soap or something in the sink. The house is bare bones-hardly anything on the walls, no throw blankets for the couch on a rainy day,and everything was so minimal. The beds were old and springy and you only get one pillow per person and one towel. The bedding was too basic and hardly big enough for 2 people. Bring your own toilet paper and everything else-it falls off when you try to use it. The bathroom amenities were that of a motel 6. Don’t use the shower gel or shampoo-smelled like dollar store to me. You only get a cheap tiny thing of dish soap that barely works and one extra garbage bag.

The perfect location; beautiful ocean views from picture windows. Lovely interior, very comfortable and nicely decorated. Everything you could want, we were very happy.

Pelicans Landing

Had a great couple of nights at pelicans Landing. The views were spectacular. Just steps from the 3 mile Bluff Trail. Will definitely rent again when in the area.

This is a wonderful property to stay at. Besides the amazing views the home is very comfortable and spacious. As soon as I walked in the door I immediately decompressed and felt at home. I highly recommend this property.

Birthday week

We had a fantastic stay in a great house in the most magical location. All things about the house were great, so was the kitchen. It was sufficiently equipped, however, basic staples were missing. It would be nice if there was, some oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, mustard, sugar and some spices. Fortunately, that was not enough to put us in a bad mood. Hopefully we will be back. Thanks!

Beautiful property

Highly recommend the house!! However, had an issue with the management group, Grand Welcome. Note that if you book through them, you will have to drive to their office to pick up and return the keys, which adds a lot of time and mileage to your trip. Moreover, the check out time was at 10, which is much earlier than most. I would totally rent the house again, but couldn't give it 5 stars due to the above. Would prefer a lock box to go in and an 11-12 check out time.

Should have some outdoor chairs instead of 2 lounge chairs which use up the super small deck spaces. Interesting cable package with at least 6 porno channels and no sports channels. We were not interested in the former and were unable to watch any of the latter such as ESPN.

BEautiful property, ocean front, walk off porch to sea bluff trails and a beautiful home inside too. A very, very nice property. Only wish might have been for a little more outdoor deck space...but that's getting a little pickt...we managed just finr.

Sea and Stars

What an amazing water front property to relax amongst the ocean, nature and a limitless night sky. The Sea Ranch in itself is a unique fruition of architecture and landscaping and this home embodies that with its well appointed interior and mesmerizing ocean views. Relaxing in the hot tub while star gazing is an amazing experience, helped in part by the Sea Ranch's minimal light pollution. Our stay here was deeply relaxing and offered a much needed reset from our daily grind. We appreciate the host for sharing such an amazing space.

Great location and home, primary bed sub-par.

This home gets 5 starts for location, layout, cleanliness and overall vibe, but there is room for improvement with the primary bed and bedding. My family and I spent 4 nights here and really loved the direct access to the coastal bluff trails, the close proximity to the beaches and all the Sea Ranch has to offer. The kitchen was well outfitted for cooking meals (we did lots of that) and the propane grill was great for BBQing. We spent hours just looking at the ocean, observing the comings and goings of the wildlife, and the lovely solitude. A huge bummer for us was the horrible primary bed. The mattress was rock hard, and although supposed to be a queen size, it feel like a full. My husband and I appreciate a firm mattress but this was just like sleeping on a hard floor We both had a challenging time sleeping throughout entire stay and woke up with aches and pains. The bedding that was provided was cheap and there were no extra blankets or pillow cases found in the home, even though there were extra pillow in the closets. We are very experienced with vacation rentals and the primary bed situation is a deal breaker for us- if not for that I would be rebooking our next Sea Ranch stay here for the fall.

Beautiful Ocean Front Location

Incredible location with stunning views. Easy access to bluff trail, well stocked kitchen and very comfortable living room furnishings. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and look forward to returning!

We absolutely loved our stay! The amazing views of the ocean cannot be beat from this beautiful and well-maintained house. Others have commented about the annoying check in and check out process, but it really wasn’t that bad given that the house is located at the north end of SeanRanch, and is not that far from Gualala to pick up the keys. It was certainly worth that tiny extra effort to stay at this amazing place. It was very clean abc well-equipped. Everything went well, and we hope to come back!

Stunning Home and view!

This home has it all. Beautifully decorated. spacious, hot tub, huge 75 inch tv, and kitchen has all amenities for cooking. The ocean views from this home are spectacular. The trails to hike the bluff are 25 feet from your door. We will be back!

Overall awesome

The property and house was great! The location was amazing! The house had everything, large open concept, hot tub on deck, large master and a great kitchen. Also, the kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to cook. My wife and I were there for four days and cooked every night. If I was going to comment on anything negative, and this is just me being picky, because the property was amazing, I would ask for a tv in the master. Also, there was a little bit of an ant issue in kitchen but it’s the coast. Overall amazing property and can’t wait to come back
