Get away from everyday stress and enjoy the perfect beach and golf house - a cozy home neatly hidden on a private street in the center of Bayside Resort's Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. Just steps from walking/biking path,the 8th &15th greens and The Three Penny Grill at the golf courses' turning point. Minutes from Fenwick State Park/Beach, Ocean City, Bethany and Rehoboth.

This house is ideal for a small family, or group of friends, to spend a relaxing week/weekend away from the everyday stress causing hustle and bustle. This small but spacious house offers elegance and style; much like going to a good friend’s house - you feel comfortable and at home from the first moment you walk in.

The open living room, kitchen and eating area ensure that you and your family/friends are able to enjoy each others company while relaxing and enjoying everyday life. The kitchen opens to a large screened in porch that offers views of the protected wooded area that surrounds the community. Birds, wild turkey and deer often visit and can be seen at different times throughout the day.

There are 3 bedrooms: 1 master with a private bath and 2 smaller that share a bath. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and is decorated in soothing green, purple and ‘natural’ neutral, the middle bedroom has a full size bed and is decorated in vibrant yellow and other tropical colors, and the third, smallest, bedroom offers a single/full bunk-bed and is decorated in blue, yellow and white.

Delightful retreat

Stayed for the week with our pups and my mom joined us. Beds & furniture were comfortable. Wildlife visits were exciting. We had a lot of dragonflies and mosquitoes out front but the screened in porch allows you to be outside without the bugs bothering. The house was spotless and I was impressed by the upgrades. Lots of restaurants in the area (we really liked Yellow Fin’s take out) & less than 10 minutes drive to Fenwick beach. Quick drive to Ocean City. I would definitely stay here again. Owner was quick to respond when I reported a concern. This was a fantastic experience all around.

Beach vaca 2024

The house was immaculate and all the amenities were more than enough. The kids loved watching the deer in the front yard! We made a whole lot of memories on this vacation and our stay made it even more enjoyable. This was the second time we have stayed at this house and it gets better each time!

Perfect stay

The house was perfect for our family of 4 and small dog. We couldn't believe the updates that have been made. The kitchen, floors, and decor have all been replaced since the photos. The house is at the end of a cul de sac and is surrounded by trees, making it feel very secluded. The host, John, is very responsive and friendly. We hope you book again next year!

Vacation 2024

We had a great vacation! Second time at this comfy house. We enjoyed the daily visits from deer, foxes and turkey. The location is quiet but quick trip to all our destinations.

Comfortable stay in Bayside

We had last stayed at this property in 2016. The owners have made significant updates since that time and we found the house to be very comfortable and furnished with everything we needed! It is located in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood filled with deer and other wildlife. The screened porch and back yard are relaxing spaces that we used daily during our week of beautiful weather. If you have a small family group, I would highly recommend this place!

Great Bayside Location, Comfortable house

Loved the location. Near grocery, Restaurants in Bayside. A short drive to the beach & more restaurants & shopping. House was comfortable for our 5. Screened porch was very pleasant for cool evenings. Grilled !

Perfect cozy cottage Vacation

This Home had everything needed for a great vacation. We used the back porch every night for dinner and board games. There were beach chairs and other items for a relaxing trip to the beach. We will definitely be back

2023 Delaware beaches vacation

The property was exactly as advertised and all the amenities listed were present. It was nice to have access to the grill and we loved the screened in porch. The porch was a game changer given how much rain we had and how many bugs were in the air. The neighborhood was very quiet which allowed us to enjoy the nightly frog concerts! John was an excellent host who responded to us very quickly.

John's beach house

This is a cozy 3 br ranch that is at a very private cul de sac but in the Bayside community, with great walking/biking, access to the bay, and a 15 minute drive to Fenwick Island SP. This was my 2nd visit and I plan to be going here again.

Enjoyable stay

The property is in good condition and located on a private street. A nice screen porch to see deer and wild turkeys. Centrally located to good restaurants and shopping. Walks in the Bayside community was a real pleasure. Our stay was very enjoyable.

Excellent host! Great communication.

We are “Transplants” from MD The Builder fell short on predicting when our house would be finished. We had no choice but to rent a VRBO. I initially rented John’s place for 2 weeks we were not sure if we would need another week John left an extra week blocked just in case we did needed it. Turns out we did! If it wasn’t for his compassion for our situation I don’t know what we would’ve done. The place is comfy and cozy, has all the amenities you need. Private end of street we loved watching the deer roam freely ☺️I would definitely recommend John and his place to anyone looking for a comfortable clean place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Well maintained in a secluded location with large yard. Owner communication was excellent. Bedrooms were on small side but beds were excellent. Updated kitchen and nice living room area. Screened in porch was a nice addition. Would stay here again..

Family Vacation Fenwick

Our family of five always takes at least one annual trip to the shore. This year we decided to choose a beach we had never been to & went with Fenwick Island! This house seemed like it was the perfect place for us to stay. We were very pleased with John’s home. He has made many cosmetic updates to the inside which make this home feel brand new! The location is perfect. 10 minute drive to get to the beach. 3 minute drive to get to the grocery store. The property is on a street that is directly behind a large community with great areas to ride your bike, grab something to eat, or go hang by the water! John was great with sharing local spots to checkout & communicating in general. The front yard was a good size area for the kids & dogs to play. There are some bikes for use, as well as a beach chair or two, and some beach toys. The screened in porch was wonderful to be able to avoid mosquitoes at night. Inside had absolutely everything we needed! I would definitely recommend this property to friends & family. 😊

Amazing property. Great Screened in porch. Bike ride distance to everything in Bayside. The Point, Groceries, Ice-Cream etc. Excellent Owner with easy a quick communication. Interior of the house was clean, newer floors and fixtures. Wonderful inside and outside.

Great place to stay!

We had an awesome stay in this cute little house in a nice secluded area. We were close enough to everything on our vacation to-do list. The house was packed with amenities to make our stay better, bikes, beach chairs, fully stocked kitchenware, etc. We would absolutely stay here again! Plus, the owner was readily available and quick to answer any questions. Added benefit, Sheryl Crow played a free concert at the community pavilion!

Nice quiet location, 15 minutes from beach

The house is in such a beautiful secluded area. We saw deer every day. Nice yard size for our dog to roam around. The bikes were great. The house has been updated since the Vrbo pictures, so that’s a bonus. We had no problem getting to the beach every day. We found street parking very easily in South Bethany.

Perfect Place for Our Needs

Definitely a hidden gem. My review is consistent with others, including that it is even better than advertised. House was immaculate and is equipped with everything we needed and more. Aesthetically the on-line pictures don't do it justice- the rooms are bright, lots of light and colorful. Beds were very comfortable. We stayed during a hot humid week so we were not able to enjoy the screened in porch. John communicated promptly to our requests for recommendations for area attractions and places to eat. This lovely rental made the vacation!
