The Escape...On the Guadalupe River.

Come Escape to the Texas Hill Country and the Guadalupe River. Stay in your own getaway right on the water. Watch the sun set over a ridge, feed the deer in your front lawn or just kick back, relax and watch the river ease on by. We are located on the upper part of the river between the 3rd and 4th crossing about 10 minutes from Canyon Lake and about 15 minutes from New Braunfels.
The Escape is a 2 bedroom, one bath house with a spacious living area, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The house features:

The location was so perfect!!! We were able to walk right down to the water and put our floats in! The house was cozy and super clean and had all things we needed to enjoy a relaxing weekend!! We will definitely book again!!

It’s great just need food and necessities for a rubber trip. Nice deep area for swimming, a lot of shade. Very clean

Nice place. Great to relax. Access to the river was through a nice safe set of stone steps. Not recommended for folks with small children. It’s everything the pictures show you’ll have a beautiful view of the river moderately easy access to the water

Perfect location off of river road. Quite neighborhood. A fox and several bird species were spotted from the back porch. Amazing views of the Guadalupe River!

The owner was very nice and respectful. The only issue we had was the refrigerator wasn’t as cold as it should be. But he did say he was take care or it. Beautiful view. I would definitely like to rent it again, maybe for Father’s Day

House was good, nothing special. Wish water looked more inviting, was looking pretty yuky. Didn't relize the deck was that far up from the water. All in all it was nice, the outside was really nice.

Relaxing and fun! Peaceful river. Fishing with the kids. Watching a crested bird alternate between fishing and sitting in its nest. Saw a muskrat on shore. Good times!

Great Family Spot

Quiet and beautiful part to stay, my kids are old enough to swim alone, and their best part was floating in front of the house!

Property was great and just what we were looking for. An excellent trip, but a few extra amenities like coffee filters, etc. would go a long way (or communication that they’re not provided). Wifi also didnt work most of the time and don’t have cell service at the house. Overall no big complaints.

We purchased this property in 1994 as a place to use for friends and family. We have shared our house with many since 1994 and hope to keep doing so for years to come.

We purchased this house because it was right on the water and in the Texas Hill Country. We had visited the area several times and just happened to luck out finding the house for sale. The house is priced very competitively to similar properties making a great choice for accommodating 2 to 6 people.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The house is centrally located on the upper part of the river. This provides our quests with options for venturing out to other local establishments or attractions. The house sits in a quiet neighborhood about 4 miles from Canyon Lake. The river in this section runs deep and slow. This allows for swimming or just hanging out in a tube tied to our deck or one of the many cypress trees roots. The house is located about 5 minute walking distance from a river outfitter and makes it very easy to rent tubes or rafts without having to drive. We strive to keep a well maintained and clean house for our quests to enjoy.
